They had the wrong day daily specials up the waitress saw us looking at them ordering off that menu on the wall and didn’t bother to say anything, she never checked on us we had to get up to request hot sauce and refills. My mother is a 65 year old woman, retired, and has been lookin for a job after not being able to work in the hospital because of the pandemic. She went in with genuine intentions of finding a job as she hasn’t been able to. The owner stated there were no positions available. When my mother asked for her name, she refused and said “oh no no no. Get out of here. We cant help you here. Get a REAL job. Get out!”. That is exactly what she was trying to do, find a job. I am all for supporting local businesses, but not if they cannot deliver basic human decency. Surprised this business has survived this long with people like his behind it. Read moreI’ve been to Alonso’s Tres Lagos four times, and overall it’s been a great experience. The service is excellent—the staff is friendly, attentive, and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in.
So far I’ve tried the flautas, caldo tlalpeño, enchiladas de mole, bistec ranchero and the enchiladas suizas. Everything was very flavorful and comforting, definitely dishes I’d order again. The only downside for me was the enchiladas suizas—they weren’t really suizas, but instead enchiladas verdes, which was a little disappointing since I was looking forward to the traditional version.
