I wished I had a better experience 😐 First off, we got there around 9:16, which they close at 10 on sundays. Anyways we got there and we ordered our food and we got it. After that, our server ASHLYN, never came to check on us whatsoever. Me, my mom, and my brother were without drinks for the rest of the night and I was thirsty since I had gotten a ribeye with mashed potatoes which not to mention, my steak and mashed potatoes were luke warm almost cold, especially my potatoes, literally cold! So whatever we kept waiting for our server to come and nothing until this other server saw us look at (Ashlyn, our ACTUAL SERVER) since our actual server had literally passed us and didn’t stop to ask if we needed anything. Then that’s when the other server comes in and she was like “Did you all need anything?” and my mom just was straight up and told her “Could you call our server” and instead of calling our actual server, she was like “what do you all want?” with an ugly attitude. so we proceeded to tell her that we wanted drinks since we hadn’t had one since earlier and she was like “okay what else?” then i told her “could we get to go boxes and to go drinks” since she clearly wanted us to leave and whatever she started telling us “oh we actually don’t have any more sweet tea w lemondade” which is the drink me and my mom get. She proceeded to tell us that when last time i went before they closed and they had given me some to go so i know it was a lie. They gave us our stuff finally and we still needed our checks. Finally our server actually comes to ask what else we needed and we said our checks and we wanted to split it and she was like “what did you all get” and my mom was telling her and she cut her off to say “okay so it’s yall two and then you by yourself and you by yourself?” and we were like yeah and she left in a rush and came back and we finally paid and left. She got no tip since both servers had a really bad attitude and it affected her tip because of that. Just because you’re having a bad day or not, does not mean you need to treat your customers bad. Like it’s your last customers of the day, you want to end on a good note so that you could get a tip but she chose to act real bad w attitude so no tip....

Apparently they were having issues with the bathrooms where some of them weren’t working and that wasn’t the main problem. Whenever we asked a gentleman what was going on he stated they are cleaning the bathrooms they will be done shortly. Well, 30 min go by bathrooms are still closed off and when I see the gentleman again he is very dismissive and leaves me speaking as I am asking if he knows when they will be done or what is the status of them. We had 4 children all under 5 years old that needed to use the bathrooms and they obviously do not know what just hold it in a but more bc the bathrooms are not working apparently. Later on after a long wait and our food finally coming we just wanted to pay and leave. Our waitress was clearly double sat and so busy we just wanted to get out of there so my sister saw that same gentleman passing by and asked him if it was okay if she could just give him our cards so we could pay he just kept walking and said , “ Nope, I can’t help”. Which irritated me even more bc I know it was possible. I immediately stood up and looked for the manager and spoke to her about everything that had happened since the moment we arrived. What was even more shocking was apparently this gentleman was somehow the Trainer for all new employees. Please either retrain him or give him a few classes about what customer service or just what a decent human being should act like. There was no need for any of his unprofessionalism let alone not being a decent human being and just acting like a piece of garbage....
Read moreSo I took my family out to eat on mother's day, big group, spent a little over $500, worst service ever. The waitress would just walk past us when we tried waving her down. Numerous items were missing from our orders. Every bad experience. We decided to give it another shot and took my family again this time for my brother's, mine and my wife's and mom's birthday in july. Thought maybe it was just mother's day they were busy we should get better service this time. Wrong. We spent about $300 this time, even worse service. It seems like it's customary to not bring out the full orders. We had to ask the waitress numerous times for the sides we ordered. Kept trying to waive our waitress down and she would just walk past us like she didn't see us. Over and over again. And when she would finally acknowledge us we tried asking for our items but as soon as the first person was done telling her what they needed she would walk away and not let the next person tell her what was missing. I was considering going one more time but not even sure if it's worth the frustration and wait time. Not to mention when we went in July it was very slow not many people at all were there. I could understand if maybe the place was packed but there were hardly any people in there that afternoon. Longhorn used to be a really nice restaurant but not sure what happened with the service there. Food is excellent but the service is by far the worst I've experienced. You get better service at the taco stands in reynosa. Hope yal can get your servers in check. Definitely will start...
