If you are looking for Christmas, this is the place. Located in the rear of the Pancake House, nearly the entire shop is filled with ornaments, santas, and holiday decorations. There are stockings, table decorations, standing Santas, amusing and funny signs, Christmas pillows, lotions and little gifts, tree toppers, reindeer, angels, elves, nativity sets, and of course tons and tons of ornaments. Some of the decor fit the McCall's outdoorsy style. Others are just plain fun. There is also a small candy shop section in the corner and an a small antique store upstairs featuring more than simply Christmas items. The store also has an entrance into the Pancake House and the neighboring Australian Sheep store. The Christmas Shop is opened year round, just in case you need a little holiday cheer in the spring or for Christmas July. The Christmas Shop is also a great place to share the love of the Christmas season with your kids, as long as they are well supervised. There are definitely breakable items easily within a toddler's reach, displays on the floor, and candy that is low enough for even small children to grab. This is a great place to browse or to find that unique Christmas piece you were...

The store is loaded with thousands of different Christmas ornaments, decorations, signs, candles, and virtually anything else you can think of that's christmas-related. You can even get that 8 ft tall Nutcracker that you've been telling your wife that you wanted! The quantity of items virtually ensures that you could find something that meets your Christmas style. I do agree with another review that the items are definitely on the more expensive side and a lot are chinese-made, but what isn't these days? I was really close to buying a giant sucker for my daughter, but it 15 bucks it seemed about $5 overpriced.....that much sugar probably wasn't in our best interest anyways! If you have to wait for the Pancake House then this is a great spot to kill some time! There's even a door that goes straight into the restaurant. Overall this is an excellent place and we ended up buying a candle for my mother in law....
Read moreI have a health condition and a service dog who helps me. He has a red vest that clearly states "Service Animal" and has been professionally trained. We went to McCall for the weekend, and after doing my research, I was SO excited to visit this store!! I LOVE Christmas. Upon entering, the owner shrieked in horror when she saw my service dog and asked me if I could "pick it up." Confused, I asked what she meant (he's 40lbs, not huge, but definitely not a Chihuahua, lol). She pointed to him and said, "oh no. No no no. He'll touch things with his nose, and no!..." It was humiliating and a terrible experience, but luckily the rest of the town shops were delightful.
Maybe post a sign outside your shop that says no service animals. Oh wait... That would be illegal 🤔 Be careful. There are a lot of sue-happy...
