This is one of the worst McDonald's that have experienced. Look at the ratings 3.3.The only reason I keep going back is because it's the only McDonald's near my house. There's another one in McHenry but I've dealt with the same exact thing at that location. So I purchased a simple daily Double Burger no tomatoe add ketchup and small fry a $3 meal. So as soon as I was given the bag I already knew something was wrong with it from my past experiences at this location. So I did not pull forward instead I had to check the burger beep the horn to get their attention then when they came over I told them I had tomato which I asked for no tomato and if they could add ketchup. The gentleman at the register taking the order put it in correct they just couldn't get it right on the food line. I even remember wishing him a happy father's day. Also the patties were burnt. The burger was wrong so they supposedly corrected it gave me another Burger I pulled up a couple feet and realized that now the burger had no ketchup on it so I had to go inside which defeats the purpose of going through the drive-thru. Now the manager did say he would bring it to the window that is designated for orders that are taking longer. I decided not to wait because I knew that would give them the leeway to take as long as they like and i was also in a hurry that's why i went thru the drive thru. After getting the sandwich made three times I made the mistake of leaving without checking thinking it was going to be done correctly. As I'm driving home I realized it only has ketchup mayonnaise lettuce no onion so all that time wasted and I basically paid for a burger that was incorrect 4 times. I even asked the manager if my Burger could made by a person who was competent enough to make it as i was in a hurry trying to spend the rest of the day with my children as I'm a father of four. I just don't understand how simply stopping by a McDonald's can ruin a person's day. That's should not happen. It's your staff. They're all young. Even the manager. You could tell he just didn't care. None of them did. Only person that seemed to care was the older gentleman who took my order. I can recognize when it's him at the speaker just by him talking to him . He's polite and has great customer service. He should be your manager. It was as if they took enjoyment from making it incorrect and seeing me struggle to get my Burger made correctly. The problem with this is that luckily I'm your average civilian but what happens when they do this to somebody who's having the worst day of their lives. Things could go seriously wrong. For the staff and customers in the store. What if someone with a mental health issue or heart issues goes in there and has a heart attack just from dealing with this irresponsible staff. This should really be looked into for...
Read moreWe ordered four meals that included four sandwiches (two McDoubles - one as it comes and one with only ketchup and tomato, along with two McChickens - one as it comes and one with easy mayo, add pickes). When we got our food, I knew right away it was going to be wrong (it's not uncommon at this location) because none of the sandwiches had grill slips on them to note the two sandwiches that had simple special requests. I was right. All four sandwiches were made just how they were on the menu, and the special requests were ignored. We had somewhere to be and I didn't have time to lug the three kids out of the car to go in and fix it, yet again. The four meals also came with four, four piece chicken nuggets and four sauces (we ordered three sweet and sour, a BBQ and a ranch). We got what appears to be a handful of sauces chucked in the bag that consisted of six sweet and sour and one ranch. Now mind you I noted that because it charges you if you want an "extra" sauce, which I paid 29 cents for a BBQ Sauce that didn't make it in the bag but they can throw extra sauces of their choosing in for free? Doesn't make sense. Our four small fries, while fresh and hot (which i greatly appreciate), were thrown in the top of the bag and were all but dumped out when they handed me the bag. Our four drinks had hardly any ice, that melted in under five minutes. Kinda gross, having watered down drinks almost immediately. While this isn't the end of the world, and you'd think maybe they didn't hear the order properly but this was all ordered on the app, special requests, and all. The location is always pretty terrible, and we've actually started making it a game to guess what they are going to get wrong each time..... No one ever cares to do better so I've taken the time to write this ridiculously long, detailed review in hopes that someone in their management team or ownership will actually give enough of a crap to do better. I...
Read moreSwore off of McDonaldâs for years due to food quality and poor customer service, regardless of location, in the past decade⌠but we came here today to bring our kids as a treat. Upon standing in front of the counter, no employees to take an order⌠no problem, use the kiosk (which Iâve heard from vast articles are for overflow⌠not as primary ordering method). So we used the kiosk to order. We took a numbered table tent so they could bring us our food. Keep in mind there are a total of 8 people in this restaurant when we entered, INCLUDING US, and everyone else was already eating. A few minutes pass and we hear our order called at the front. No problem, seems counterintuitive to have table tents to bring customers their food if youâre just going to call it at the front, especially when the place isnât busyâŚ. No problem, I walk up and grab the food. Wife says they forgot the drinks, I go back up and ask for the drinks, she gives me the cups. Then she said they forgot some fries, went back up to ask for the fries. Then I go to fill up the drinks for us (again not sure why we enter what drink we want in the kiosk if we have to get it ourselves anyway). I walk over to the drink machine, the closet door is open directly next to it with mops, brooms, cleaning supplies, and everything else youâd imagine would be in a restaurant cleaning closetâŚ. Very appetizing, especially when I got closer and saw that all the dispensing nozzles for the soda machine were disconnected and sitting in a bucket ON THE COUNTER soaking in waterâŚ.. the water was gross, the bucket was gross, and my kid wanted ketchup, so I just reached around the bucket to fill the ketchup cups. Food was pretty much as I remember, sloppily put together burger, mystery meat chicken nuggets, and lukewarm fries without salt.
McDonaldâs, thank you for reminding me why I avoid these places. We...
