Last night my husband went to the location In McHenry, IL (off of Richmond) through the drive through. My chicken sandwich was not cooked thoroughly and both of us have been frequenting the bathroom since. We called the same night and were promised a full refund by the manager on duty, Alyssa, but when I wife went today to collect the refund, the woman at the window, “Danielle” (supposed manager) refused and offered a partial instead. When I told her that’s not what I was told, she said she doesn’t have authority to refund $30 and anyway, Alyssa only authorized the spicy chicken refund to her. When I asked to speak with the GM, she was refused (Makayla, that’s you) and instead, the police were called. I’ve already called their corporate line and an expecting a call from their district manager. Makayla and Alyssa, when I come back tomorrow I’ll be asking for that refund again. Also, seeing other reviews, I’ve seen photos of peoples food with a bug in it, very old and soggy lettuce, and multiple complaints of your staff having a terrible attitude. I will not get food from here again. Overall terrible customer service and bad attitudes.

Read moreThese team leaders are so good. They handle traffic, clean up the sore beautifully and the nicest thing about their bathrooms is that they are always clean, warm, and comforting. I was privileged to meet them on a day when they got a big boost from the District Manager and I watched the entire team beaming out positive energy. That suffused the food they served with so much love that all I can ever do is be thankful to them for giving me and my best friend so much care, consideration, and concern. They loved us better and so we are.
From two great Chefs I worked under that I love the most, "If they don't wanna pay you to do an expensive wedding, buy them hamburgers. From Wendy's."
The last two words are an add-on and I am not truly seeking an endorsement but it couldn't hurt.

Read moreArrived at this Wendy's location and went inside to pick up an Uber Eats order. The orders are supposed to be ready to go when we get there. That was not the case here. I checked in with the girl at the register, who was very nice and polite. She said they were still making the order and it would be ready in a minute. . . 15 minutes later it still wasn't ready. It took about 20 minutes for them to make 2 Doublestacks and 1 Triple Cheeseburger. To her credit, the register girl seemed to be the only one concerned about making sure the order was taken care of. All of the other employees, all teenagers, seemed to be happy just standing there. That explains why their drive-thru line was so long. . . The management at this location really needs to step up their game. There's no reason any order should take that long when you have that many kids working there. I felt bad for the customers I was...
