Terrible atmosphere, it’s loud and uncomfortable to sit and work here. Outside is better but there are hardly any tables at a height you can work from.
The staff is a mess. Something’s up with the training or management. They are always either extremely slow moving or there aren’t not enough people and they seem stressed and much less friendly than other locations. Also several times I’ve been given dairy after order non-dairy, which makes me sick for about an entire day, so I can’t trust it.
They absolutely prioritize the drive through over customers who walk inside, about 4 cars got taken care of before my drink was even started.
There is one really nice guy who works at the drive through window that’s excellent and friendly, so a star just for him.
The drive through is always really awkward because they are always trying to push you to get food and it’s the first thing they say to you, instead of letting you order.
The final straw for me was when I went in, as usual, to get some work done. I’ve been doing this for years, but I just moved a city over, so I’ve only done it a few times at this location. I sit and work for hours and usually order multiple drinks, but I have food sensitivities so I bring my own because they just don’t have what I can have. I always ask to be polite and have never been turned down in maybe 10 years of working at Starbucks.
Today I asked and they told me no outside food was allowed whatsoever. Then they took 20 minutes to get me my water and tea. It took so long they had to ask me my name again and what I was waiting for. One of the staffers who had just come in was working like the wind (handed me an overfilled water that the lid flew off of and drenched me) and her co-worker making my tea was moving like someone put her in slow-mo. It was absolutely wild.
The interior is so uncomfortable to work inside anyway, it’s not a real loss for me. It’s just a shame it’s such a mess because I’d be...
Read moreI've been a regular at Starbucks for years, relying on their cafes as a place to work, study, and relax. However, I've recently noticed a significant drop in internet speed at multiple locations—so drastic that it's nearly impossible to get anything done online.
It feels like Starbucks is intentionally slowing down their Wi-Fi to discourage customers from staying too long, which is really disappointing. This approach seems like a subtle way to manage customer flow, but it comes off as a disservice to loyal patrons who depend on the internet for work or leisure.
Starbucks has always been a place that fosters community and connection, but this move feels like a step in the wrong direction. I hope Starbucks will reconsider this practice and restore the quality of service that made it such a popular spot in the first place.
If you're finding it difficult to work or browse the internet at your local Starbucks, you're not alone. Let's hope they address...
Read moreIt was "just what the doctor ordered," as they say! The coffee was excellent. My Wife and I ordered two regulars with two shots of cream and two Splenda in each and off we went with our items from the at home store directly across the street. Back home to Dallas from there in McKinney at the Starbucks. Anyways, the service was really good, the atmosphere was phenomenal. I'm guessing that this particular Starbucks hasn't been open very long because absolutely everything in the store looked fresh and new and the store itself smelled of fresh coffee and coffee beans and grounds. We didn't order anything else but the coffees to go, but the food on hand looked great! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. If I had to complain about anything there it would have to be the temperature of the place because the Crew on duty for that day had that AC crankin'! So cold in there while we waited. The coffee from there was a great warmer! We highly recommend it. See...
