Arby's — Restaurant in Medford

We stopped for dinner. Unfortunately my experience wasn't so great. I ordered a bourbon chicken and got a cold sandwich except for the chicken itself, I also ordered loaded fries and a large drink. I really enjoyed the loaded fries. There was plenty of cheese, Plenty of bacon, plenty of sauce, and it was hot and delicious. The other thing that I enjoyed about my meal, was that arby's has diet Dr Pepper. Diet Dr Pepper is not so easy to find these days, and so when I ordered my meal and got my drink was I happy to find the diet Dr Pepper. The arby', like most modern day fast food establishmenys, has the requisite bathrooms, tables, chairs, double doors, lighting, and hard floors. It even has free parking, handicap parking, handicap tables, a large marquee for understanding what food is available even for the sited-impaired like myself, so we can see what's available. Unfortunately even with all these wonderful things that Arbys has, I did not care for the sandwiches, and that's what I came for. Had the best experience here today. I am vegetarian (wrong choice right) but my carnivorous boyfriend really wanted to come here. I told the Workers I was vegetarian and they immediately started joking around with me and assured me they could accommodate. She had the cook make me a baconless blt with onion cheese and jalapeños. It was delicious. She was so kind, and genuinely cared about her customers. She periodically checked in on is asking how everything was, if we needed extra sauce, napkins, as well as boxes to put our extra fries in. We felt more like we were at a restaurant than at a fast food establishment. Geri was her name and we discovered she is a shift lead, Great choice, Arby's. This woman deserves a medal. She was truly a gem and made our experience incredible. . Also Laura was incredibly kind and helpful as well. I mistakenly ordered a small fry instead of a large with my mobile coupon for any sized fry for 1 dollar and she brought me a large told me no problem and did it all with a true smile. Been eating here for years cause..its food...but I strongly suggest sitting in front of the window to check your order before leaving because it WILL be wrong. When ordering jalapeno bites, they often forget the bronco berry or, if you specifically mention wanting the bronco berry, they're just as likely to give you marinera. When ordering a french dip, make sure you get the sandwich AND the dip because they are likely to forget one or the other and I'm not sure which is more disappointing. When ordering a turnover...don't. Out of 4 or 5 times ordering a turnover, I got 1 and will never attempt to again. If you draw attention to one part of the order (i.e. please make sure to include the bronco berry) they're likely to mess up a different part of your order (i.e. put tomatoes on your sandwich). If you order the gyro, at least squeeze the pita before driving away because a hard pita you can't bite through and that makes clicking noises against your fingernails is a bad lunch time.
