China Hut — Restaurant in Medford

From start to finish an overall bad experience. We got there an hour before closing, were sat, & within 10 minutes of sitting they asked if we were ready to order. I went to the bathroom while my fiancé was sat, so when she came and asked us for our order, I had JUST got back. I walked back to the table AS she walked to the table! I said I wasn’t ready & not even 5 minutes later did she come back. That wasn’t as bad as when the older lady came to my table, took my menu out of my hands & asked what I wanted. Rude! Then I just said, I’m pregnant, so I’m wanting something small. I asked or a small appetizer of BBQ Pork as a quick-thinking result. When they brought it out to me, it was COLD! Like not lukewarm, COLD-COLD. Then I asked for them to reheat it. The whole time we were feeling rushed. They microwaved the pork, so parts of it were hard. Then, right when she brought this back to me, she brought the check too! And at this point my fiancé was finished. He went & paid for the food (right as my food came out) & the lady asked us if we wanted a box. I had literally JUST gotten my food! I had a bite! So to be asked if I wanted a box in a hurry-up-suggestive manner, made me feel like I was an inconvenience . Like I wasn’t a paying customer. Overall, bad experience!...

I went to pick up a to go order, August 5. My friend had Mar far chicken and chowmein. The chicken was really, really over cooked, the chow me in, the best ever. I got the sweet and sour chicken, again a really over cooked, and rice was great. $19.95 for Chow me in, and rice, most of the chicken uneatable. Use to be great, maybe new owners? I, will not be going back! Why 1 star, it was ready fast, and have to give 1 star for review, otherwise would have been none!! I forgot it looked like chicken had also been sitting around, not warm. Upon putting it on my plate, lukewarm, could immediately see it was hard and overcooked. Use to be great, not anymore, stay away!! I just got tasting, the left over chicken, realized, it tasted awful. I will go to Safeway on Stevens street, considerably better Chinese chicken!! This place wasn't very good at all. The owner was to lazy to get up from her booth and seat us, instead she yelled at us to sit where ever we wanted and shooed us with her hand towards the winow seats. Sitting down the table seemed nice and clean but upon investigating the silverware I noticed it was rather dirty. The cups for the tea also had spots of food on it most likely from the dish washing. There were some options for vegan and vegetarian people which i, at first, was excited about. I ordered and was told that my food had noodles in it and the tofu would be brazed. Well when it came out there wasn't any noodles, the tofu was practically raw and the dish in general was tasteless.
