My family has been ready for the Medford location to open since they first announced it a year ago. It’s been decades since I’ve been in one, and my kiddo has never been before since the other locations are hours away.
We went midday on opening day, and it did not disappoint! The space they had to work with wasn’t huge, but they maximized the square footage better than I imagined.
The arcade game area is lined on two sides by booth seating. There are a couple more tables in the middle. The back section has several long party tables and higher bar top seating too.
The front half is traditional arcade games. Pac man, Frogger, TMNT, etc. Along the wall are basketball, ski ball, & soccer type games. The younger kid games are in the middle section. There are several character rides (minions, pj mask, etc) that allow 2 kids to sit together for one price.
This location has a trampoline zone and a ninja run attraction. These are an extra cost to enter and it includes the required gripper socks. My child enjoyed this section the most, and I know to budget in the extra price when we visit.
There’s a large motion activated dance floor where the images move around as you walk across. The younger kids really enjoyed this. Chuck E Cheese comes out every hour and dances with the kids. He also walked around and took photos with anyone who wanted one. The party area was larger than I thought it would be, and they are already taking reservations.
I was excited to see they have homeschool days and sensory friendly days once a month.
Medford needed more kid friendly places (especially indoor ones for winter and smoke season). I’m glad to add this to our list of...
Read moreMy 3 yr old daughter, Wife and I visited here and had a wonderful time. The staff was so friendly and helpful as we walked in. I noticed the system they housed to keep children safe from abduction was comforting to see. I felt safe when I lost sight of my child for a brief moment knowing she couldn't get out without my unique # As for Chuck, he showed up and magical is all I can say about the look in my daughters eyes.
Here's the info I acquired while there. All games are 1 token and some win you points to redeem prizes at the counter. You will receive a swipe 💳 card to play games. All points won are stored on the card. When redeeming points for prizes just scan your card to see how many points you have.
What you'll expect to spend. We bought the smallest token package at $18. This got us 30 tokens to play. Again 1 token per game. This was quite a bit for my 3 yr old and she was content. There is also a ninja zone with trampoline zone. This is an additional $15 per child. We did purchase this as well and again my daughter loved it. We purchased a pizza as well and 2 drinks. I believe this was all around $57.
They also have a birthday zone and an interactive dance floor for all to play on.
We will definitely be back .
The pizza was good but not the best. But I didn't come to Chuck E Cheese for gourmet food. I came for the environment and atmosphere for a 3 yr old and they nailed this...
Read moreI see all these reviews talking about how great it is and all the "nostalgia" maybe these are much younger parents than me but this place was absolutely nothing like I remember as a kid. Way over priced, food was OK but still way over priced for what it was. The play area for the kids isn't even as good as the McDonald's play place in my town that's free. Games are mostly for toddlers aside from a few and the least you can spend for "tokens" to put on a card is 30 dollars which at least drops the price of a wristband down to like 7 dollars a kid. The lady didn't initially say anything about the wristband being less until she probably saw my face then said they were 7 or whatever if you buy tokens but again keep in mind that the minimum amount of tokens you can get is 30 dollars worth. The kids had fun and that was the goal but I could have bought them wrist bands at the fair to ride all the rides all day, spent the whole day at the fair and it probably would have cost less. Overall I thought it was actually kinda depressing compared to what I...
