During this time many dunkins are closed earlier than usual. This one had a sign in the drive through saying they were closing at 9 . It was 8:43 when we pulled up to order 2 small iced coffees(not a sandwich not a lattè) and we were refused service because they were cleaning and closing up already. PLEASE if your dunkins stops serving at 8:40 pm (like the guy in the drive through last night told us) you need to communicate that on the same paper that says you’re closed at 9pm so people don’t get upset. We had already gone by 3 different dunkins that were already closed so we went to this one to see if it was still open and to our surprise and excitement we still had about 20 minutes left before they closed (or so we thought) we come there all the time so this was VERY disappointing. It felt like the workers just didn’t want to take care of us and honestly seemed like they were lying just to get out of work early. I understand having to take extra time to clean and sanitize but put that on the doors and signs by the drive through so people don’t get confused and upset. I come from the restaurant industry I get it when people come in to get food 5 minutes before close. But like I said it was just a coffee, not a sandwich, nor would I be sitting at your table for 2 hours keeping you there. Was not happy at all . Tried calling 3 times today to talk to a manager and no one answered. My husband also speaks Portuguese and have heard some of the employees bad mouthing each other in Portuguese. They need to respect each other more. You shouldn’t be talking to your coworkers like that especially in front of customers. You don’t know who is watching. We went through the drive thru to pick up a mobile order. The guy told us we can pull up to the next window, but before pulling up he said half of our order was missing. We then tried to get a refund, he refused and demanded that we choose different items. He repeated that he couldn’t refund us, that he’d only be able to if a manager was there. He then left us waiting for ten minutes at the intercom. We heard laughing and talking; it was like they had forgotten all about us! We spoke up for their attention asking to speak to someone else. He then replied saying he’ll get someone… Kid You Not, two seconds later, the same voice responded acting like a new person! At this point we knew we had to go to the window. Oh how I didn’t know that was only the beginning.
At the window, we restated our entire order and he lets us know every single item is unavailable. At this point we were going back and forth to find a solution. We settled on substitutions. Can you believe he manage to get every single item wrong STILL even with the new substitutions!!! Even with the messed up order, we left due to a line forming and because of how RIDICULOUS the situation was!
