The Bamboo Room at King Wah's — Restaurant in Medford

My brother was sent by Air Ambulance to the Medford hospital. Having a bad day/night, I went looking for somewhere to go to just try and handle my life at the moment. I don't drink, but I needed to find a slot machine to put $20 in. I do this at some point every November for my mom, who passed in November a couple of years ago... I was not familiar with the area and had stopped by because they were open, and Google said they do karaoke as well. I love some good entertainment and needed a smile. I was not disappointed. The server/bar maid was amazing and did an awesome job! The people/atmosphere were so fun! I left with what I went for, a smile and a good time.I would 💯...

Having only been within these walls once, I doubt I will be eager to return any time soon. The patrons were almost friendly, until I was referred to as a Las Vegas slot machine reject, which made me wonder...how'd they know I was in Vegas awhile? . The bar tender seemed to groan as I asked for change, a simalar sensation relived by my elder sister a few moments later, and the most darling pick up line from a gent who may or may not remember himself much less anyone else as he proudly offered to shake my hand as he said: 'hey I am safe; come home with me. I'm to ... to ...what was I saying?.'the gent asked... Well maybe I will go back for another...

This bar is good for it's varity of liquor and friendly bar tenders. On Saturdays there is a good KJ running music with a taste of professionalism. However.....Tonight (Friday) was not a good experience. There was a new-ish KJ at the bar. They called him Captain Awesome. This guy was pawing at his girlfriend like a stoned puppy trying to devour a slab of prime rib. He tried to undress her in front of everyone. The sight was disgusting to say the least. The KJ also played to his favorites when making the singer's lineup. I left early, and on the way out I heard the KJ yell at the owner.
