I don't leave too many ratings but I go here regularly and I love it. It feels kind of like being at a gathering at a friendly neighbor's house where their grandma made the food. Everyone there is very kind and amicable, they take the time to speak to you and if you're in often they remember your name. They make you feel like a guest rather than just a source of income. The decorations are cute and jungle themed, and there's children's drawings all over. It's genuinely an adorable hometown family diner in every way.

Haven't had any food here I didn't like. Breakfast all day, with lunch items after 11. If I'm in the mood for something sweet, I get the German Apple Pancake. Highly recommend it! It's a flat, custardy pancake with baked cinnamon apples, fresh strawberries and powdered sugar. Can't go wrong. Their corned beef hash is all homemade, not that junk from a can, and always delicious. The home fries are probably the best I've had. As for the lunch items served after 11, the chicken paprikash reminds me of when my grandma made it for me when I was little. They do make it much more authentically here than my grandma, you do have to fish the bones out of it, but the flavor is excellent.

On top of everything, the prices are very reasonable. Going here once per weekend is my weekly treat for myself.

No photos from me, my food is gone before I would ever remember to take one!

5 stars all around from me! Thank you guys for always being so kind and...

A friend of mine recommended Jane's Diner. We went there for lunch. I wanted to try something different and I'm glad I did! Both my friend and I ordered Jane's baby. There's a very long word that is the original name for the food we ate, but it's very hard to pronounce, so they call it Jane's baby.

It's an apple potato pancake with blueberries and strawberries sprinkled on top (picture that is posted). The pancake filled the whole plate! It's not very thick and it has almost a custard taste to it. It's almost like a big crepe. It was very, very good! It's on the sweet side, if you like that for lunch. I have a sweet tooth, so I thought it was very good! I loved every bite!

They had other dishes on the menu like schnitzel and latkes. They sounded good too, but Jane's baby sounded better. They also had desserts, like pies and cakes, but we didn't have any. Their prices were decent too.

The service was pretty good. There was a gentleman there who filled up our coffee and water and took away our plates. He wasn't our waiter though. I actually thought he was better than our waiter, to tell you the truth.

Jane's Diner is a great place to eat if you ever visit Medina on the square. I highly...

We had our meal here for the first time came in for lunch on a thursday and it wasnt too busy. Sit whereever you like and Ms. Jane was there to greet you with a very warm welcoming smile and her husband can cook... A+++. Their daughter decorated their cozy feel restaurant. This is afamily run business and a very homemade family recipe deliciousness. Will be back with Mom and Dad on family date night.

The Food. My husband had a Reuben. Excellent. "Best Reuben he's ever had", i quote. I got the Reuben on a Latke Sandwich. It's instead of bread it's on 2 potato pancakes. Delish! I'm not a big fan of sauerkraut but i liked their sauerkraut. The cornbeef is the thinsliced almost shredded. The best!. Inhad left overs because of their portion but I eat like a bird anyway in the first place. My husband finished his. Photos shown. I ate mine not thinking of taking a photo first. The wait wasnt that long but i was starving when we went there so i just dug in when i got my meal not thinking about it.. We downed the food with sweet tea....

I rated it 5 stars but would make it 4.8 if I could. The food was great. I had the smashburger with cheese and bacon (comes on ciabatta bun). My wife had the stuffed cabbage special, and my daughter had the chicken paprika. All the food was amazing. The stuffed cabbage was just like homemade and the mashed potatoes that came with it were probably the best I've ever tried. The paprikash was legit paprikash, not some half baked knock off. The smashburger was juicy and tasty. The place is full of live plants which I really enjoyed. The only complaints I have is that they only have sweet-n-low low calorie sweetener (the pink packet) which is ok in ice tea but awful in coffee. They need to have some splenda, I mean c'mon, it's 2024. Also, they don't have french fries. Prices were as follows: Smashburger: $12 (additional $2 for the bacon and $1 for cheese totalling $15) Chicken paprikash: $14 Stuffed cabbage: $14 All in all, a really nice experience. Well definitely go here again.
