Tried something local and not chain tonight while in Medina. Good overall! Choose pretzel bites and fried pickles for starters. Both were awesome! Kyle loved the pretzels and enjoyed his bite of the fried pickle. The fried pickles were whole pickles, which was awesome! Very filling for starters, way more value on the pickles than the pretzels, but tasty all around. Ambiance and cleanliness was good, and social distancing on point if you care. Bathrooms were very clean.. Sever seemed a bit standoffish, but not a big deal as we had two obnoxious kids. I grabbed the bacon, chicken & ranch wrap and it was delicious... Kyle ate almost my entire fresh pickel. I didn't finish intentionally for leftovers. I did a side of Mac n cheese, as it was half the price of the kid's Mac n cheese. Kyle had a few bites, but didn't finish it like he normally does. My sister had the Parmesean crusted chicken and she said it was tender and delicious. My picky nephew had the grilled cheese and ate almost all of it. The side of chips for anything were pretty salty and too much for anybody to finish. Definitely good food and quality service, didn't expect a $75 bill, but I support local businesses. Would recommend if looking for something local...

I'm highly disappointed usually I love Sullys they have great food and I was craving their beef stew. I went into Sullys to order take out this evening and I ordered two bowls of beef stew. I sat at the bar waiting for 25 minutes , it was not heavily busy. I received my food which was tied and from the person I ordered from and went home to open it and find that I have two bowls of chili. I did not order this I ordered Beef Stew. I called up and the lady that answered said she would swap it and I explained im on the other side of Medina and just got home and it's unacceptable. She then responded with she would call back shes going to talk to her manager to see if they could take it off. I waited 25 minutes and called them back the same lady answered and told me sorry we have been busy the manager deleted it so you won't be charged and hung up. This is extremely upsetting and aggravating as I should be getting what I ordered . This is not a review to bash but rather show where you...

I have eaten at this establishment twice and both times has been very good. Had the haddock this last time and it was perfectly prepared. The service was excellent - fast and attentive despite being very busy. Great place to have a beer, eat and watch a sporting event.

  • Update * 10/12/24 I have been in Medina for a week and went there several times with different people. Each and every time, I felt unwelcome and like the employees couldn't wait for us to leave. I didn't overstay - I was there within posted hours and left before closing time. But they were cleaning up early, putting up the chairs a full hour before they were supposed to close. I went in at 8:30 one night to have something to eat and was told the kitchen was closed. We made the decision to go to PJ Marley's down the road and they were thrilled to have my business. We had a nice dinner with drinks. I like the atmosphere at Sully's, and that was my go to place, but not any more. They don't respect...

It was a fine place, bigger than I thought. Service was top notch and the food was good. Had their Guinness onion soup (French onion soup) when asked the difference the waiter said he thought it might have some stout in it, DUH, was VG! I had their Shepherd's pie which was like beef stew with garlic mashed potatoes dumped on top, different, never had it like that before, VERY filling though! Mrs.Turtle had meatloaf with mashed potatoes & gravy. She commented that the grave tasted store bought but the meatloaf was tasty. There was plenty of food left over at the end and washing it all down with a pint was a perfect end. Menu was adequate for a family to choose from with a wide selection and of course the fully stocked bar would be a delight for any Irish man (or woman). They frequently have live entertainment and the place looked like it would be fun on the weekends. A must stop in Medina! $$+

Nice Atmosphere. Good Service. Nice outside patio setup. Not sure if because of menu slowly coming back or that is actually how they make Cottage/Shepard's Pie, but was very dissatisfied with it. Nothing like actual Cottage Pie. All they did was take their Irish Stew and Slap some scoops of potatoes on top. Cottage/Shepard's Pie is a Casserole and to prepared as such. The Irish Stew was all large cut ingredients and good in it's own right but terrible to use as base for Shepard's Pie. Almost debated on 3 stars just on that poor representation of cultural dish. But hoping that it's contributed to the strains on menus due to virus limitations. The Corn Beef and Cabbage was also lacking. But the Ruben Egg Rolls were very good. Hope to maybe give them a second chance and try in a few months when things running properly again.
