Went to Hooters for lunch on Father's Day with Rob Diesel and a very hungry/pregnant Emily and it wasn't bad... then again, it wasn't $195.00 good for 3 1/2 people... I had the nachos and immediately I was overwhelmed by the flavors of canned chili, soggy jalapenos and a flavorless cheese sauce. Very disappointing. Rob Diesel ordered me a double Lemonade and Vodka and I honestly don't think that they poured any vodka in the drink - trust me, I know my vodka and if it was on point I would have probably enjoyed the nachos simply because vodka makes every meal that much better... Emily had shrimps and wings and she seemed to enjoy them... Rob Diesel had a combination of different wings and said the hot wings were good but the others were not worth the money. That's not a good sign because Rob is a noted wing expert/connoisseur and his reviews carry a lot of weight when it comes to wings. NOTE: Rob gave his bacon and celery infused Bloody Mary a 4.5 score and said that Hooters South County NAILED it in terms of alcohol to tomato ratio and the addition of crispy bacon, celery, hot sauce and seasoning salt really makes their Bloody Mary an amazing addition to the hot wings.

Now, I like to look at beautiful women as much as the next guy. With that said, I must emphasize WOMEN! The young ladies on duty all appeared to be under the legal age and that doesn't do anything for me. If you're going to have females running around with shorts riding up in their booties and padded push up bras make sure that you have a VARIETY! Mix in a few Latinas, some Sisters, a fiery Asian or two and a few sexy mature women and I'd be much more impressed than being distracted by college girls that all look like they just came from the mall trying to impress with their latest makeup purchases. To be fair, our waitress was friendly, attentive and had a bubbly personality. She deserved her $30 tip! I like Hooters. I have had some memorable experiences with the chain over the years (especially the Downtown St. Louis location which seems to understand diversity and consumer experience better than most other locations) but, this wasn't one of those experiences. It was lackluster and not up to the high expectations that I have for Hooters. I'll be back to see if they redeem themselves and I hope that the bartender learns to make a proper Lemonade and Vodka and they add to their staff.
Alexis was our waitress last night(9/28/25), which she introduced herself as she stepped up to our table with a BIG smile!!!! Alexis presented us our menus and she told us the HOOTERS Specials of the day. Alexis immediately took our drink orders and she brought them to our table, along with the sugars needed, very quickly!! Alexis was VERY attentive!!! When it was time to take our food orders, Alexis took the time to write down our orders and she made sure our orders were correct before leaving the table. Alexis arrived with our food with a BIG Smile!!! The food HOT and fresh!! Alexis asked us if everything looked correct and she then offered more drink refills before leaving our table. This waitress is an EXCELLENT example of how a waitress SHOULD be!! Alexis was Professional, she was VERY attentive, she was ALWAYS Happy to help us & she was a pleasure to deal with!!!! Alexis was VERY attentive, she offered to refill our drinks without us even asking! The food was so good that I was interested to order some food to take home and she recommended me using the online option, to ensure the food would be packaged correctly to take home! What a GREAT idea!!! Alexis even took the time to help me with my online order!!! (I could see Alexis was busy, it looked like she had 8-9 other tables with customers & yet, she still helped me with questions I had with my online HOOTERS order.) Alexis sincerely Represents what HOOTERS should be!!! Alexis made my dining experience a pleasant one and I had to share my experience!!!! I hope Alexis will be my waitress next time I dine at South County HOOTERS!!! It was a privilege to be served by Alexis!! Thank YOU Alexis for being one of the BEST waitresses at HOOTERS!!!🙂
The atmosphere was Busy!!! A few other waitresses did not look happy to be working!!! Maybe they should take lead from Alexis!! 🙂
Alexis had explained before we ordered that the menu had been updated for the better!! She stated that the sauces were old style, but better than before!! She was CORRECT!!!! The HOT wing sauce was BETTER than I remembered!!! So buttery and delicious!!!!! Thank You for bringing back the old menu! One suggestion, PLEASE bring back the THICK Onion Ring tower and the Jack-a-Roo BBQ Sauce!!!!
I also need to add….The male manager on duty was also VERY helpful!!!! He also took the time to show me how to use the online HOOTERS App. .

Read moreI ordered an order using the Hooters app. After purchasing i was notified that Postmates would be delivering my order. I received my order and i was missing part of it. I called to ask about it and a manager by the name “Shayna” told me she remembered putting it together herself and it was in there. I told her I don’t know where they went but i need what i ordered or i wanted my money back. I was then informed they don't deal with the money, that postmates does all of that. I tell her “ ok what do I do since i ordered using the hooters not postmates” i was told she couldnt do anything that i had to contact postmates. Im not understanding how i have to contact someone else about an order i ordered from Hooters. Not to mention Postmates dont have a phone line to deal with the order only email!! My wife also called to hooters trying to get it resolved and was hung up on by yes the same “Shayna”(manager). My wife and I went up to hooters to try to get it resolved in person to no luck. I was told by her and 5 different servers that they saw her put it in the bag. First of all the issue isn’t “ she put it in the bag” the issue is when i received my food that i ordered i didn’t get all that i had paid for. Secondly when do 5 different servers have time to watch one person put something in a bag on a busy Monday night. I was told that it happens all the time, that they get calls about postmates taking food, so my question is why does hooters still deal with them, and why wasn’t this situation handled like hooters knows this kind of thing happens. I asked for the general manager’s info and corporate’s info, i was told by manager “Shayna” that i couldn’t have it. She also called the police and had me forced to leave when all i wanted was what i paid for. I wasn’t hostile i wasn’t disrespectful or none of the above and to be escorted out by two police officers over something small like this says what about Hooters? This is very unprofessional especially from a MANAGER towards a paying customer. I didn't ask “postmates “ for my order i asked HOOTERS therefore I shouldn’t have to deal with a third party at all. I also don't appreciate how the manager handled the situation. I will never eat at this hooters again, no sit down, take out, nor delivery and wouldn’t recommend...
