UPDATE TO BELOW: I'm not sure if there is some fraud going on at this location or what, but I just realized that I paid cash for that burrito over $14, but when I returned it, they pretended like I didn't pay cash (because they had the receipt in their hands and I no longer had it to confirm my original payment type, and thankfully I took a picture and put it out there with this review, because they wouldn't return my original receipt to me, and they made me give them my debit card to refund my money and would not give me my cash back) Upper management needs to take a look a closer look at what is happening at this location so I am about to check my bank account to see if that money has even been put into my account because they refused to give me my cash back!!! Something seems fishy about this place. Oh, and by the way, I failed to mention in my original review below. That the person who rung up my cell did not have gloves on and proceeded to no. Make a take out order for me of the green salsa and had his fingers all over in the lid of the container. And when I asked him if he wouldn't mind putting up some gloves, he seemed to get a bit of an attitude throughout in the trash and then ask the colleague who was actually working on the line with gloves on making the sandwiches and the salad. It's etc to prepare my salsa to go. Again, another health and safety concern.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I am still suffering major stomach upset from a tortilla that I purchased yesterday evening for dinner, and after the 3rd bite, my stomach began to show signs of something wrong on my way home. When I got home where the lighting was better, I found myself chewing plastic!!! Now, this morning, I'm still having diarrhea, so I don't know which ingredient in my tortilla was not kept at the right health department standard temperature, but something must have had bacteria growing in it or something because I'm still not feeling well..
This used to be a decent location to run out to for lunch or dinner, but I guess just like the closing of Cheesecake Factory, the rest of these restatrunts in the Cordova Memphis area are probably gonna be following that same path and it's very unfortunate.

Read moreWe went to get take out around 8-8.30pm to this store which closes at 11pm. The staff told they're busy with some orders and cleaning and that if we wanted food , we have to wait around 15 minutes and they would call us when they're ready. We did wait and in the mean time, more people came in, a few of who were told the same thing by the staff as we were but not everyone. We kept waiting and then we noticed that the staff started serving the customers in the line who came after us. We questioned the staff at the counter about this and all we got back is attitude and to stand at the back of the line. When we explained what was told to us initially, the person at the counter said it was not her and she doesn't care. Then another person comes up and dismissively says it's fine, just jump in front of all the people in the line as if they were doing us some favor when in fact the staff should be telling the people in the line that there are other people who have been waiting for a long time already and that they will be served first. We have been here a few times and it was only once or twice that they had fajita veggies.. it's not like we came in 5 minutes before they closed!! And today, the rice was stale and not fresh at all. You'd think after dealing with all the attitude and rudeness from the staff, you'll at least get to go home and enjoy the food but even that's not good. I'm never visiting this...
Read moreI'm very very upset! I drive across country for a living and spend about $15-$20 on Chipotle every single day. I depend on Chipotle to get as close to a clean diet as I can. I placed a online order for 9:40pm at around 6pm today because I've been driving all day to conclude my day with a good workout and then depending on Chipotle to provide the protein and carbs I need to maintain muscle. When I got here, they proceeded to tell me that I need to get a refund on the app because they don't have any meat at all to make my food with. This is so disappointing being that this is what I've been looking forward to all day and now I'm stuck having to find food that goes against the Chipotle ONLY diet I've been on for the last few weeks. I've been a huge supporter of Chipotle for years but this is so disappointing that I truly feel like I now need to carry my business over to Moe's going forward. This is unacceptable especially being that there should always be enough meat made for the entire day and they could have cooked more to make sure all customers are taken care of. With this said.... this will be my first and last time visiting this Chipotle and returning to a Chipotle might not be in my future.
