I reserved a section for 20 for my 37th birthday and I talked to two different people. The beginning of January, I spoke with the Front area manager who told me for a group of 20 I would have to purchase six bottles starting at $200. I agreed because I have never booked a section before and wasnāt really sure what to expect however, I do know most places I have heard about have a fee that wouldāve provided for a section with food, liquor, etc.. I called the day before my reservation about 20 days later to make sure everything was still good and spoke with the actual restaurant manager, who guarantee me my section for 20 would be Available. He also assured me that I did not have to purchase six bottles. In fact, he said I did not have to purchase any bottles If I did not want to. I then told him that I would be there on Saturday and Iād be happy to meet him if heās not too busy. Saturday came around and my reservation was for 10:45pm. I did not get seated until something to 11:45. I repeatedly heard security speaking amongst each other, that the facility was overcrowded, which it was very much overcrowded most likely passed capacity for safety reasons that was a big concern to me To be a restaurant. Finally, when we were able to be seated , they provided me a section to fit 12 people. Although all of my people werenāt there, I did tell them it was about 15 that showed up so I still needed Sufficient space. The young man at the front desk repeatedly told me that they do not know who I spoke to who would even book a section for more than 12 people because they cannot sit any group larger than 12. I told him about the two people I spoke with in January from the beginning to the end, including the conversation with Patrick, the restaurant manager. I asked for the manager they told me he was busy, but the waitress finally finally went to get him for me. When he showed up to my surprise, he did not remember our conversation. Luckily I have common sense to know how sometimes itās easy to forget a particular conversation when you speak to so many people throughout the week so I was able to jog his memory. after the 15 minute back-and-forth conversation of him telling me that he canāt do anything because other people have been waiting he finally remembered our conversation about the 20 people and agreed to give me an additional Section. Unfortunately, the other section was on the other side of the Restaurant but that was fine we made it work. The food was great. The music was great. The drinks were great. My biggest suggestion and complaint is for better customer service and communication. If your facility cannot accompany a section greater than 12 people,This should be told in advance whether itās over the phone or in person clarity is everything. people make reservations in advance and invite guest with the expectations of being able to accommodate their guests with Food space vibes, etc. it was very embarrassing to have my family and friends have to wait almost an hour to be seated and once they were seated they were all bunched like a can of sardines in a section of 12 people. I do appreciate him, providing the additional section after I jogged his memory however, with careful planning, something should have been noted that there is a party of 20 reserved so that the arrangements couldāve been met without me having to jog his memory. Before he remembered our conversation, he even said to me that there are people waiting that has been waiting over an hour is if I didnāt book a reservation, the whole point of making a reservation whether he remembered my conversation or not . iām not sure what the day hours look like for brunch, etc. but if you are trying to visit for night hours & night fun depending on the day, if you are concerned about your safety, you will not book this place. They were well over capacity with one way in and one way out. iām definitely not here to bash just here to the give heads up for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo with broccoli and chicken added. It was great, and it was a nice serving size. Due to we can't give half stars, I would like to add that their rating is a little higher, but not exactly a 4 or 5 for my experience.
If you are younger, single, or a person who likes to hang out, this is the perfect place for you. I am a little older, so it wasn't necessarily my type of atmosphere anymore, but it is definitely a spot to go hang out with friends if you want to go get drinks.
My lower rating again is for my experience and for what I saw that the establishment was lacking. They need security or enforcers at the restaurant for sure. When I arrived with my husband, there was a table that should have been checked by the manager or security. It was weird because it looked like a table of friends, but there was one at the table who kept going off on them. It seemed like they were friends and foes at the same time. The young lady kept getting louder and louder, to at one point, I thought a fight was going to break out at the table because she hopped up from her chair and went off again and threatened to beat up a young lady at her table. Now, to also add, she didn't seem drunk. She was highly upset about whatever their group had going on personally. Then she went off at a guy at the table, and she finally just stormed off from the table and left. Management and the workers just looked and kept walking like nothing was going on during the whole ordeal. Some sraff looked concerned but never said anything to see what was going on. I was concerned on if she was coming back though due to she was livid and gave off the "heading to my car, and you better be gone when I come back vibe." She didn't come back, but workers at the establishment should have taken control of the issue beforehand due to this type of stuff can set the tone for their image as an establishment. I know things can happen, but this event was interesting to listen to and watch, and it was intense at their table.
Pros: Fun atmosphere, good music, good food, chill vibe, great place to hang if you like lounges or having nights out on the town
Cons: -lacks security a little slow with service if you are not into club/lounge like scenes, old fashion, or don't like being around a younger crowd---this may not be for you -smoker environment due to hookas -Not sure if it was just our table, but the chairs were extremely low. We moved from our chairs and sat on the booth part of the table instead because the table was too high for the chairs that we were sitting in. I would have been looking like a 2 year old after eating my food. I am 5'5", and I struggled at first trying to make sure not to drop food because of how high the table was compared to the chairsš¤£
Maybe there are certain days to come for certain crowds, but overall, it seems like a chill place to hang out at. I would definitely say try them out. If I was in my younger days, I would have most likely been a regular patron as long as there isn't/wasn't any foolery of the crowd of people. I like...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdate following the last update: the manager, Trina displayed so much professionalism and integrity when I revisited today. As always, the drinks and food are delicious! 10/10
SEE NEW PHOTO Update: I've lowered my stars and likely won't return due to false advertising. The food is still delicious, but the business failed to apply my rewards points that I received after enrolling in their loyalty program. I was told by the server that the program was canceled due to servers stealing the points (new restaurant and I just earned the points on 10/28/23). Also, the manager, Tonya confirmed that the program had ended on 02/01/24. When asked why I didn't receive a notification of such, she then stated that the company had mailed out gift cards to compensate for the lost benefits. Keep in mind that my visit was on 03/10/24, which is over a month since the alleged ending of the perks program (of course I don't have a gift card). Moving pass this issue, the bill wasn't presented in paper form (large party, so I can understand why)... However, I was only showed my total on the electronic machine, and it seemed reasonably priced so I didn't question it. I eventually asked for a paper copy as I left but didn't look at it until I got home. I was charged for my food and drinks, along with my friend sitting next to me food and drinks (I agreed to pay for her food but NEVER said the drinks). Along with that, because I never saw my ticket when given my total, I added a tip not knowing that the server had already added TWO tips!!!! A gratuity tip and an experience tip (whatever that may be)! Oh, let's not forget the space on the receipt that mentioned applying the rewards points (the program that ended). I'm cool with mandatory gratuity, but that should be told to your customers. The food is so freaking good here, but I will opt out of patronizing over bad business etiquette.
1st visit: Everything was superb, and the prices were very reasonable! There wasn't one thing about our experience that I would change!!!! We were seated immediately w/o a reservation. Deja was our server, and we ordered jerk shrimp, fried and grilled huge lobsters, regular and bacon topped mac & cheese, fried okra, crab cakes, broccoli, hookah, 4 kt forever cocktails šø š šš¾. All of this & check was barely over $200. The menu's variety of options has surely excited us to...
