Honestly this whole street is covered with homeless people. I walked into strange cargo because I saw several things I was interested in buying on the window front. And a homeless guy followed me in asking for money and my leftovers. I'd already given him the only cash I had on me ($5) and I told him no several times in different parts of the store then he cornered me in the back and kept asking me. None of the employees or the clerk tried to stop him or told him to get out so I could look around without being molested so I wonder how common this is in general on Beale Street? Definitely made me not want to visit it or Beale Street or this store again. It was about the 10th homeless person that day that stoped me while exploring downtown Memphis. They should really try to get some kind of Regulation or help for these people or at least don't let them accost paying customers. Or at the very least stop them when they are cornering people in...
