Well here it goes.......today I decided to have my lunch from fox ridge, huge mistake. I ordered the side salad and 7' inch sausage pizza. I did not mind waiting 20 minutes for a small order but oh well. I took my food back to work and my pizza was burnt and my salad was throwed into a small plastic container, lettuce was barely chopped. I called back to get a replacement order. Huge mistake...After being on hold and telling my story twice....I was told the policy was " They must have the food there before they re-make it". I told them I work right behind them in the Clark Tower and I cannot come stand around for another 20 minutes. I let both people knew I would bring them back the burnt pizza and half chopped salad thrown into a plastic container when they give me a time my new order will be ready. Then I was told they would only replace the pizza and put my salad in a larger container. I said really, you are not going to make it allover again fresh. She said no, we will just put your salad we gave you in a larger container. My concern is COVID...How does a business hand you food, you take it away from the business. They ask you to bring the food back, only to take it back into the kitchen, I know that is a food and safety violation, and did I mention COVID regulation on restaurants practice of handling food. I simply said I will never come back, and I will let all of my co-workers know about my experience. I am stuck with a displeasing salad and burnt pizza, thanks Fox Ridge, for taking my money on today. I would like to add before I could hit post, it made me give you at least one star. I wanted to chose no stars, but there was no other way I could post...
Read moreThe pizza was really bland and the crust was as well (and wasn't firm or cooked properly). I got the BBQ chicken pizza and it's crazy to me that Domino's has a better one. I really thought I'd be getting better than delivery quality. I don't know, maybe it was what I ordered...? I love pizza and I'm not hard to please. Ordered my kid the spaghetti and he ate it, but I had to pay extra for meatballs on it. I thought that was funny.
We were with a party so we all got charged gratuity. I don't ever tip under 15% so I didn't have a problem with this. What I do have a problem with is sub-par service when there's automatic gratuity. I worked in food service for a decade and it was clear the girl who was waiting on us was in the weeds the entire time. There really should have been two servers dedicated to the room (other people ran food to us, but overall we just had one girl). They weren't busy.
I ordered a Diet Coke and never got a refill. I asked if they had any garlic and she looked at me like I was crazy (It's a pizza shop. No garlic? Really?). I decided to order a beer and never got it (but I was charged for it). When I gave her back the receipt to take it off since I never got it she was sweet and apologetic. I tipped her $5 over the auto-gratuity because I felt bad for her. Asked for a Diet Coke in a to go cup. Didn't get that, either.
I watched her run to the kitchen, bring back one thing, run back to the kitchen, bring back one thing, and repeat this over and over. She was running herself to death. If she would've used a tray, written more things down, or brought out multiple things at once, she...
Read moreFirst off, the service. The Employees basically ignored the customers. Only two people working the restaurant and it was busy! The older woman stood and talked with her friends for almost the entire time we were there which was 45 minutes. The guy just kind of disappeared into the kitchen area and came out the one time eating and refilled our drinks. He got them wrong the first time and when he refilled our tea he got it wrong again. The spaghetti was over cooked and tasted like left overs rewarmed in a microwave oven. The sauce was so salty that it was inedible! When I complained about it and said that it was inedible, they didn't care. My Wife's pizza was good, it was the BBQ chicken. My friends had spaghetti and a sandwich. Wayne and I both complained about how bad the spaghetti was, we were not asked to exchange it for something else or offered a credit, I left mine uneaten in the bowl. Wayne had been in here the week before and had said it was good. He kept apologizing for recommending this place during the whole meal. ( We both had the spaghetti). We paid 50.00 for lunch for 4 people! Don't waste your time here! Terrible service, terrible food, VERY EXPENSIVE! You can get much better food from a better restaurant for less! Definitely NOT recommended!!! Used to be very good back when it was in Fix Ridge, now just garbage, with terrible service (lack of service, I should say) that you have to pay through the nose for! The are for people that will NEVER return, and if I can save you money by steering you to a better place, then I am at your service! Guaranteed these...
