Update: This is my first time through this drive thru in several months. I thought I’d give it another try but they told me they aren’t doing orders due to a shift change. I said you know that’s not normal right? The guy on the speaker proceeded to argue with me about if it’s okay for “his people” to go home. I told him it a not normal for any restaurant to stop taking orders due to someone getting off their shift. He then yelled at me to leave and get off his speaker continuously. He included that everyone was clocked out and I told him that it’s illegal for anyone to work while clocked out. He then came out the back door and yelled at me to “get off his speaker.” This isn’t the first Krystal’s that I’ve been by that stops taking orders while “on a shift change.” It is entirely unusual and unnecessary. And it seems that every time I go to a Krystal’s in the last year that I’m unable to make an order due to this reason given. Which is why I continue to rarely go and will likely never go again at this point.
Came through the drive thru for the second time since the previous review. I ordered through the mobile app and arrived at the time it said to. There were 7 or 8 cars ahead of me all the way to the pick up window, however it took exactly 30 minutes from the time I joined the line to the time I reached the window and received my order. The food was correct and tasted good at least.

Read moreI give up!!! I went to this Krystal a few weeks ago at 8pm and was told they werent taking orders and only doing Uber and Door Dash. I came back a couple of weeks later at 9:50pm to the drive thru. I pulled up to the speaker and the woman told me they weren't taking orders because they were changing shifts, which I didn't think should matter. I asked how long the wait would be, she said 15 to 20 minutes. I had come too far so I decided to wait in the parking lot. Over the next 45 minutes I watched car after car pull up and was told the same story. I couldn't believe how many cars came thru and were sent away, lots a lot of business being sent to other places. Finally after 45 minutes I when back to the speaker and was told the same story. I asked her why it was taking so long to change shifts and she said the 10pm crew had not shown up for work yet, they were now 45 mins late for their shift. I don't know who stayed there the rest of the night but that's crazy. So tonight I thought I would try again.I got there at 9pm making sure not to get there at shift change and i was told their system was down. I asked how long and was told 15-20 mins again. I didnt wait this time, i went to another Krystal and was told at that location that they were "changing shifts" i knew that story so i left. Ive been going to Krystal since the 1960s when my grandmother would take us kids as a treat. They closed the one near me so its a drive to get there. Read moreSunday 5/29/22 went to this location and sat in line for a total of 15 mins. 5 mins getting to order sign and additional 10 mins to give order. They were only taking a car at a time. Understanding about short staffing these days My problem was when the young man came on the intercom, he first stated you needed exact change, or pay with a credit or debit card ..okay but then he went on to list many things that we couldn't order due to it not being available. I sat 15 mins and couldn't order what I came for Please fast food restaurants, let's go back to good customer service. Let's teach these young people to be proactive rather than reactive. If a sign was post or you order menu Marquee, people could decide if the wanted something else or not. That was really poor customer service for this business. I asked the young man for the manager's name, I could tell he was sad that I asked and I told him I'm not blaming him but change needs to happen. He stated the manager's name is Michaela (maybe in correct spelling) I told him I would be calling to complain so I'm doing this online complaint for Krystal's headquarters hopefully we'll get it and I will be calling Michaela.
