The young man taking orders does NOT need to be taking orders. He does NOT understand customer service. I asked for a philly cheese with extra cheese. I check after it was made and see only meat and no extra cheese. I open the sandwich and show it to him and a lady that kept talking to him on the side in Spanish. This was soo rude because I don’t know what she was telling him about my food. Then he tells me even if he remakes it the sandwich will be the same. I then ask him why can i not get what I paid for? I even told him I will pay more. The lady then takes her finger and digs through it to show me the cheese was on the bottom. He then tells me the usual amount is 4 slices and a 5th piece is the extra. Soooo you charge a $1. for one extra triangle piece of cheese??? Then I tell them so the sandwich has extra cheese on 1/4th of the whole sandwich??? My Lord. SMH. I told him what is the problem? I can pay for the extra cheese or just get my money back. They then both said ok and walked to the register. I was thinking, wow, you’d rather throw out a whole sandwich, or take it home. I was trying to get home so I changed my mind and asked him to have the sandwich made with the extra cheese like I wanted. He the charged me .55 cents. The lady takes the sandwich and remade it or fixed it. Now that I think about it she was not supposed to have done that per the health dept. rules. This whole ordeal was crazy. HOWEVER, I'd avoid the Spottswood location (Next to Target) in favor of any other branch. I've patroned this shop 5 or 6 times over the past year and each and every time I've been disappointed in something about my order. The bread was stale and hard, they missed an ingredient, were out of something I regularly order, etc...
My most recent visit was submitted online for pickup, I have the receipt and the order confirmation to verify what was submitted. The order, when I got home, was incorrect in one sandwich and missing items from the others. When we called to inform the store that there was an error, they blamed me for not submitting it correctly. Even though, as stated, it's on the order confirmation and receipt.

Read moreThis location is under much needed renovation and new management and I frequent here often. Prices have gone up but you know you pay for what you want and I have no problem with that. The new management (Kayla) has apparently adopted the "the only way I can address and issue with your food is to bring it back" option. If my food was fixed correctly when I ordered it I wouldn't have to call and complain! My Sandwich was the worst I've ever received. I called the store to let them know and was asked if I wanted to bring it back (after getting back to work) of course I said no and I was told well there's nothing that I can do about it and told that they could give me 10 percent off my next visit and I politely told her no thank and I will not be coming back. How dare you treat me like I was lying or I did something wrong to you! I will not be patronizing this...
