Lucchesi’s Beer Garden is an absolute gem! Family-owned and it shows in every detail — from the warm, welcoming atmosphere to the outstanding quality of the food. The beer list is nothing short of remarkable, with a fantastic variety that keeps both locals and visitors coming back. It’s no wonder this spot is a true hometown favorite. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates great food, great beer, and genuine hospitality!

Note that the deli and pick-for-yourself package area close at 6, leaving only the "parlor" (bar) open later. Food can still be ordered at the parlor, but a runner has to go check if to-go bottles/cans are available. Plenty of smokers on the patio, and inside smelled like it. But, exotic beer selection at fair prices, and friendly staff.

We visited here yesterday for the first time and it was an awesome experience. We each had a beer (400 to choose from)) and shared a sandwich. Delicious. We met the owner and his father-in-law (who is also the cook), both super friendly guys. We will definitely return and support this great local place.

Cozy place with a good beer selection and friendly staff. UPDATE: Lucchesi's also has a deli in the building with an entrance facing Poplar Ave that I have driven past countless times without thinking about it. I finally stopped by their deli yesterday to get something for lunch, and quickly realized I should have stopped by the deli years ago! Somehow, it has slipped completely under my radar for years, but they will now be a go-to spot for me! I love a good muffaletta, so of course I had to try their Memphaletta. Absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend giving it a try! Their selection is great, and I will be working my way through the menu! They also have an excellent beer selection that looks interesting as well. Go by there and give them a shot! They have a few tables inside the deli Oh, side note. Their menu is posted on their website, and they do take pickup orders by phone. Currently they do not take orders through the website, so look them up and get on the phone for a to-go order.

Edit: I have now had the opportunity to try The Infidel and The Grizzle. Both are awesome! The Infidel is a new take on a Cuban sandwich as a panini. A little spicier and cheesier than your standard Cuban, and it's all the better for it! If you like a good Cuban sandwich, try this one! Your taste buds will thank you! The Grizzle is a panini similar to a Cuban but is made with Roast Beef, Turkey, Pepper Jack, Jalapenos, Bruschetta, Hot Sweet Mustard, and Mayo. As a personal preference, I had mine with no jalapenos. The combination could not have been better! 10/10! I should add that as a purely personal preference, next time, I will probably have it without the bruschetta which contains a good bit of raw onion. I love cooked onions but am not a fan of them on the raw side.

I should also add that they have a huge variety of beers in their selection, and they also have a bar just around the corner with a big patio. Great place to relax with your sandwich and beverage of your choice! PLUS! Well behaved dogs are welcome...

Two stars because the food was so good. If not for that, I'd have given it a lower score for these reasons:

We called our order in beforehand, and when we arrived were told that they hadn't started it because they were trying to install a TV and got distracted. It was a Sunday, and I would've been willing to overlook that as strange as it was.

But the guy behind the deli (at first the older man who was alone, and then the younger man who showed up 15-20 minutes later) was maskless (the guy that greeted us was masked and did his best to deflect the strangeness of the delay, no problems with him), family members of the staff who came in were also maskless and not told to put one on, and the overall attitude of the service there was lax at best. If this was shortly after opening, I'd have understood, but this was after 12 (they opened at 10), we were the only folks in there for a minute, and even the subsequent customer who'd also called in his order had to wait and was given a similar excuse about the TV.

When I go to a sit-in place to eat, I expect to wait. It's not fast food, and let me repeat, the food was great! But when the staff seems unconcerned about the people coming in, both in their attitude and neglect concerning recent health protocols, it gets frustrating.

I hope that if I come again that I see staff complying with mask mandates and ordering their family and patrons to do the same while we're in the pandemic. I also hope that if they're short-staffed and trying to get things together that they at least set our...

My first time here and it was good. As they are currently restocking and getting it all together it wasn't the full experience I expected which is why they got the 4 stars. The selection of beer is overwhelming and the sandwich I chose (Big Bad Blake I believe it was called) was good but for me didn't have enough meat ( I was told by my friends that were with me it's because my bread was bigger, a muffaletta bun whatever that is) as the sandwiches they got were cheaper but looked bigger. The beers I chose were new to me but I was happy with my selections and they were more than happy to help with picking out what's best for you. I spent this visit on the deli side but they have a bar side as well. I'm going to go back soon and try the bar I have a feeling that they will get the 5 stars once that happens. Side note, they do sell everything to go and if you do get it to go the beer is 50% cheaper than if you drink...
