I honestly did not want to leave a bad review on this place. They were very kind and it makes me sad to do this..... But everything about this place (except for the people) was absolutely horrible. Probably the most disgusting Indian food that I have ever eaten in my lifetime. The food was bland and watered down. The nan was doughy and probably was frozen and reheated in a microwave. Luckily I didn't get sick, so I am thankful for that. Another issue I has was the price. I paid around $20 for their buffet. My wife and I ate there and it cost us around $43 for lunch, plus I had to tip them (their receipt has the tip section) so I ended up spending $48 for the crummiest lunch I have ever ever eaten. They are really proud of their watered down soup curries! Also, which is typical among Indian restaurants, the place was dirty. The ceiling fans were full of dust, there were stacks of soft drinks on the counter and the floors were grungy. I walked out with an empty stomach and felt like I was robbed. Advice to management.. When people expect a curry and you give them soup, at least throw some sort of thickening agent in it (flour, corn starch, tomato paste or something.. Maybe add a little spice? If you need me to show you how to cook a proper curry, I will be more than happy to show you, but what you served me, was 100%...
Read moreMy wife and I used to order here all the time and we always got the Chicken Tikka Masala with regular Naan. We ordered the same thing every time and it was usually great. This time we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala was extremely watered down and bland and the Naan bread was burnt and stale. We called them to see if we could get a refund and they said that’s how they always make it, which is not true, and they straight up denied that the bread was burnt or stale. We were super nice to them over the phone and we were really surprised with how rude they were being to us. We explained that we were regular customers and that we loved their food and they didn’t care. They hung up on me the first time I called and I had to call back and explain everything over again. They said they could make it again for me if I drove 30 minutes back to their restaurant and I said thank you, but I’m not willing to make the drive back, I just wanted a refund for the chicken tikka masala and the Naan, and they said no. Unfortunately, we will not be eating here again and we will be telling our friends to stay away from this place. I’m so disappointed with their...
Read moreI am an HVAC/refrigeration contractor. I did maintenance/repairs on coolers, fridges and freezers at this restaurant on several occasions during last year. Because of my job I have a chance to see quite a few restaurants from the kitchen side, it’s like an insider information :). All the refrigerators and freezers are always clean inside and everything is packed nicely and safe, everything is being stored in an organized and neat way that I don’t see very often at other restaurants. This kitchen looks very good from inside; all cutting boards are clean, knives serving/cooking tables are constantly being cleaned, the floor is alway clean and dry. I personally didn’t see any “not very fresh” produce at this kitchen. Most of the food order would be cooked almost entirely from scratch. I do believe that this restaurant, with the current owners, is a place where is the food is freshly cooked, tastes great and it is a safe place to order Indian food for yourself and for your kids. The bread they bake fresh every...
