BIBIBOP Asian Grill — Restaurant in Mentor

I used to really love this place, but I had a distasteful dining experience here a few months ago, and i vowed never to return. However, recently i decided to give it another chance. The food was way better this time. The only complaint about the food is that some of the potato bits were not cooked thoroughly. Raw potato=yuck. Everything else was delicious. Sadly, the soup pot in the lobby was empty but still turned on and the smell of burnt soup bits on the bottom wasn't nice. The service at the counter was rather unremarkable, but once seated and eating in the lobby, an employee decided this was the time to disassemble the burnt soup pot, and proceeded to lay the parts at the far end of the bank of tables where we were seated, about 4 feet from us. We were the only people in the whole place, so i for sure felt weird about that. The bright lighting in this place hurts the eyes. My reviews are normally positive but bibipop just rubs me the wrong way on so many levels and it'll be a long time before I'm back again, if ever. The food is really good, in concept, so i might try another location before i write them...

One of the best food places in Mentor! I was so excited when they opened up a location in town. We’ve had their food in the Pinecrest area many times and the chain in general is one of the best tasting meals for the price. Coming from Florida, it’s really hard to find flavorful food here in Ohio and Bibibop does not disappoint!

The place was packed and that’s always a great sign of how well a place is doing and the quality of food they offer. They even have free miso soup for customers! The atmosphere and decor is clean and modern with great music. The service is super fast and friendly and just an all around great experience.

Really good food options are hard to find in this small town and so glad we now have another option to choose from. Now we just need a Brassica to open in Mentor and we would be set! If you’re on the fence of trying out Bibibop I highly recommend you give it a chance and you can...

From being enthusiastically greeted at the door, to the great food, not to mention the aesthetics of the decor, it was a wonderful first experience at Bibibop. The staff was friendly and patient with first time visitors. They were very quick to neatly put together your order. There was a really good selection of items to build your own bowl, and they had a lot of interesting sides available at the register. I regret not getting the crisps that I saw, because I'm sure it would have been tasty. Maybe next time! The establishment was clean, and not overly decorated. Simple decor and a very nice layout for indoor dining. The only thing I could suggest is some adjustable blinds at the booths, because the sun, as wonderful as it was, was almost blinding on the white tabletop.
