I get about 50/50 service at this location. When they mess up I tend to just cut my losses so long as I can still drink my drink, you know? I waited almost an hour in drive thru (can't walk well from injury so was willing to wait) while placing my order online. First they don't have the ingredients for my drink. Ok fine, I guess something else since I already paid. Thought on the fly and simply asked to add drizzle at the window. I got one hell of an attitude while I'm just trying to go about my day. Just do what you can-it takes so much longer to complain and not move then it does to just assist the customer on a mistake. Good god man, these kids need to learn to bite their lip. You would have thought I asked her to make me three more drinks lol. You had a long day, fine. I sit silently with no regard. Eventually she realizes they forgot my food. Then they don't have my food available either. Obviously the least they can do is a refund at this point, right? Nope, she fights me on it so I actually have to ask for a manager. I've never had to do that and it's silly that I had to for something that should have been simple. You had 0/2 of my items purchased. Come on now! You can't be rude and unhelpful just because your having a bad day or something. Thank God the key holder had the decency to just refund me without fuss. Although an apology would have been nice. It's not like only one worker knows what's going on at the window. Sam was pretty adamant about making a scene for herself so I found it hard to believe no supervisor was listening in. If you can't keep it together you need to...
Read moreStarbucks Reynold's Rd. status; "underperforming" in contrast to high-volume sister location Heisley Pt. There is a marked, unaddressed traffic issue pertaining to the drive thru- present 5/7 visits within the last month. Pronounced "lag" within the line (during all shifts) not standard practice at locations with similar volume. Handling of the line is further agitated when the dining room is designated "closed".
I've determined that Reynold's Rd. is either understaffed or training involving the importance of drive-thru efficacy has not been addressed with existing staff. Reynold's Rd. attracts high traffic. However, when comparing your location to Heisley Pt. cs. Mentor Ave. there is a marked difference in wait time. For cars to be wrapping around the building & nearly onto the street is unacceptable. For those waiting in line? A cup-o shouldn't take 30 min, either.
Glancing into the dining room via the drive-thru revealed certain staff actively engaged, while others were seen avoiding their workload. I noted passive, disengaged & avoidant behavior from certain staff as the line continued to wrap around the building. Reynold's Rd. attracts high traffic, as does Heisley Pt. However, there is a marked difference in how large workloads are handled between the two locations. It is my suggestion that Reynold's Rd. a) hire additional staff immediately and/or b) train existing staff on the importance of handling drive-thru traffic in a...
Read moreI placed an order using the Starbucks app. It was a simple order - 2 iced teas with no sweetener and light ice. The drive thru line was long, so I went inside to pick up my items. They weren't ready, and as I watched the staff member make various drinks, I realized that 2 of the iced teas could not be mine because she added lemonade to them. As another 10 minutes pass, I thought I better check to see if those were indeed supposed to be mine. Sure enough, my name was on both of them.
I double checked with the staff member that they were made with lemonade. She said yes. I let her know that that was not my requested order. My husband is diabetic and the addition of lemonade would have had disastrous results for him. Her response - "whatever". She did make correct drinks following my specifications, but the lack of caring as well as lack of attention to what directions are on each sticker is concerning.
Had I picked up my order through the drive thru as originally planned, I would not have been aware of the mistake. My husband would have ended up in the hospital. What is printed on those stickers really...
