Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar — Restaurant in Mentor

Today, Wednesday, about two I went in to get my favorite, raging berry. I always grab some for my family too. Been doing this for years now. Every week, saturdays afternoon. Weekly ritual. I adore the crews that I’ve dealt with. These guys are amazing. Best smoothies. Always smiling, and has given me some good nail painting advice.

I had a little…problem a few days ago with a crew I don’t normally deal with. Haven’t seen any of em. And it was bad. A pretty big mess up involving everyone working and another worker of another business close by.

Today when I got my usuals, I just let the ladies know what happened. I don’t expect free stuff. I didn’t say anything for entitlement. It was a mess up. But they took care of it.

I saw the looks on their faces and how fast they went to war for me. It made my day in a way they can’t understand.

I love these guys. I’m going to keep coming a few times a week. I’m going to keep supporting them how I can. But if I walk in and see a group I don’t know…it isn’t smoothie day that day.

I really want to bring attention to the three women working today who stepped up for me. They are badasses and I hope will be rewarded and recognized.

To the three of you, thank you. Things have been incredibly difficult in my life for the last year. When I get my drink and get home I just sigh. Today I smiled. Today I’ve been thinking about how three people that don’t know me well stood up for me. And that’s badass.

Edit: I would have given five stars for service too except for Sunday. That was the day that the straw broke the back. But I would absolutely change it to five...

BEST. SMOOTHIES. EVER. Just check out their menu. They have everything you could think of and its all amazing. Every chance I get I go here. I live out of state now and was able to visit for the Christmas weekend. I was in Mentor for a total of 3 days and saw so much family, however, still managed to find time to stop at pulp because I have yet to find a smoothie place that equals them. And don't worry if you aren't near Mentor, they have locations all around the Cleveland area!

Dear Pulp, Please, I beg you, open a location in Bowling Green, OH. I went to college there and they have no idea what good smoothies are. They have Jamba Juice and they LIKE it!? Needless to say, it was a very depressing 4 years of my life without you.

P.s. Also, please consider opening a location in Denver, Colorado. Now, I know that is quite the distance, but hear me out. You are amazing. I love you. And I need you in my life on a daily basis and I haven't found a go-to smoothie place in Denver and if you could open a location here it'd make my life SO much easier. And immensely happier. Plus, Denver LOVES it's healthy life style, healthy food and smoothies. You'd have a cult following in no time. AND you already have a very loyal customer!

I walked into the store tonight around 8:30PM and another lady walked in before me. The girl at the register was taking the woman’s order while the other employee was cleaning up, it looked as though everything was being closed for the night. The girl that was cleaning looked at me and looked at the cashier and looked back at me while saying “BRUH” really loud making it obvious that she was made that people walked in 30 minutes before 9. I’ve never in my life witnessed something so rude because I eat at different places all the time and never had to deal with something quite like this. I walked out of Pulp without ordering anything and I will never go back. Bad for business! I wish I caught names but I was so angry I had to leave.
