Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Meriden

If you want Jersey Mike’s the Meriden location is not it! it is worth it to go to another location. I just left Jersey mikes and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience and this is not the first time today was just the worst. Firstly, the staff seemed uninterested and inattentive. I had to repeat my order several times the girl on the grill making the hot sandwiches she’s always so DAMN mad and angry, she makes it hard to ever ask a question or reminding her on what you want on your sandwich. The sandwich itself was underwhelming. The girl who made my sandwich should not be on the grill anymore I wish I had gotten her name but she’s the Butch looking one, My sandwich was sloppy For the price, I expected much better quality. I asked for my bread to be toasted they like to toasted the top of the bread but not the inside I asked to toast the inside of my bread she made it an issue. When I saw her cutting up my bread I asked her coworker if she can please let her know I would like the inside of my bread toast, she slapped the mayo on it and sure enough toasted the top of the bread. I asked the gentleman who was standing next to her to please have her toast my bread and she screamed out I already put mayo on it. I said it doesn’t matter. I still want inside of my bread toasted not the top not the bottom. I was really hoping for a better experience, but sadly, I won't be returning to this Jersey Mike's location. 9/15/2021 Ordered a regular size steak and cheese with mayo. pretty simple right?. Well guess not. Steak was way over grilled. lots of crunchy hard pieces. Barely any onion and peppers(didnt taste them at all).. I asked for a little extra mayo. They added so much that when i bit into the sub mayo shot out and all you could taste was mayo. $9.50 for a bland over grilled steak not even foot long sub.. Definetly was not worth it.. After i say 3 bites I stopped eating it. **UPDATE *So decided to give Jersey Mikes another chance went in tonight 12/20/21. Nothing has changed. Ordered a smiple salami and american cheese sub with lettuce tomatoe mayo and black pepper. To put it bluntly Subway makes bigger hsubs than this. Paid over $9 for what you see in the pics below.. As you can see in 1st pic you cant see salami in 1 half, in other half you see 2 slices of salami. Turned sub around for second pic.. i think its maybe 5 slices of salami.. Would of been better off going to Big Y and gotten salami and cheese from deli, fresh loaf of Italian bread, lettuce and tomatoe and gone home and made a sub that was worth $9.. Between Jersey Mikes and DiBellas, neither is worth the money they ask for...

I went to this jersey mikes location on 3/27/22. For starters crew staff we so unorganized. The cashier was going back and fourth with no gloves on from the register to the cutting board touching the area exposing germs to the cutting board where the sandwiches are made. The young woman who was making my sandwich seemed to be very distracted to the point she kept putting the wrong ingredients on my sandwhich after I repeatedly asked for something different. I than asked for the manger, who was standing on the side of his staff & expressed my concerns. He was beyond rude, told me that his staff was doing an exceptional job despite them failing to follow fast food protocols right infront of his face! And not to mention the bread was steal and hard was not fresh at all. Than the manger cashed me out and told one of my intellectual disabled client (I was on the clock getting them dinner) “why are you looking at me like that can u stop what’s your problem”. I was in disbelief I tried to call corporate or get In touch with the owner of the restaurant but was unsuccessful. Never again will I visit...
