Yesterday on 12/19/24 around 11:30ish, I was in the store shopping and I seen a women & men customer come in with two big bins of clothes to sell to the store. I heard the employee say to the customer the clothes had a smell, so they properly won't be able to sell the items but I did not see the employee pick anything out of the bin. You can obviously tell customers seem shocked and upset, so they started asking questions. The employee seemed defensive and starting to be combative with the customers. I heard the customer ask for a supervisor and she was standing right at the cash register listening to the employee have a disgusting attitude with the customers. The customer had the supervisor smell items and they didnt say anything so she must've felt like that item didn't have a smell. Throughout the whole time the customer is talking to the supervisor you can hear the employee keep trying to address the customer in a very unprofessional way. The customer ended up selling the items and left but seemed distraught. The employees started smelling the clothes and I heard some of them say I don't smell anything on the clothes the smell could've been coming off the customers, which is odd to me because the store itself has a horrible stench. The supervisor obviously couldn't process and sell the clothes at this point cause the employee was acting so unprofessional to the customers which would've made them all look bad if the items were sold. I was truly disgusted with the way the employee acted and how the supervisor let her just talk to the customers in that manner. I was upset myself because that customer was doing a good deed by bringing in items to the sell to the less fortunate. The employees seem to discriminate who they sell and take items from. The store should be more accepting of items cause there's actually people that are in need of those clothes. I can not believe this store has employees who act so inappropriate well working. The customer has a right to be upset, the employee has to be the professional in the situation because they are a representation of the store. I was so disgusted I didn't even continue shopping, I left the store and will never return to this store so unprofessional. The employee needs to be reprimanded & I...
Read moreToday I went shopping here and found myself very disappointed once I got home! While shopping there are no shopping carts or carriages for children so if you forget your stroller you have to hold your small child while shopping. Instantly makes the stress of even walking in the door increase. Today there were water shoes just all mixed together not by sizes so you literally have to dump the entire bucket and look one by one to find the size you need. I’ve been noticing since January many items are priced incorrectly. Such as a pair of water shoes that are worn and filthy…. Beyond filthy being $8.50 and new ones being $8.50. Seems like they aren’t paying attention to labels and wear of products. Rather just grouping all items under the same price umbrella! The deals and coupons are absolutely terrible. Spend $50 get 15% off your next purchase…. Um I have kids I’m not going to try to go spend $50 more bucks in the week allotted for the discount…. Ok now all of that is off my chest, bottom line stressful shopping experience with a child in my arms and trying to shop. Get to the register and everyone seems mad your even there, no hospitality at all!! Cash out go home only to find a huge hole in one of the items I purchased! I’m so upset about all of this I don’t even want to go back!! Be careful moms lve been shopping here a LONG time and im finding stains on over priced clothes and now holes!!!! Look there is some cute decent priced stuff but I don’t think the staff care enough to thoroughly check and price items! Pretty upset about this, I don’t get much time for me and this was...
Read moreI brought my items in at 5:30 pm. “Since the top item had dog hair,” (couldn’t show me any though and from a dog I don’t have) they “couldn’t buy any items.” They never even looked at the clothes, they were all still in the neatly laundered piles and garment bags!! except for when they dumped it when giving it back. The hair they saw was probably their hair and again, they couldn’t show me any “dog” hair anywhere else on the items underneath the top shirt. It was close to the end of the night so I am guessing that they didn’t want to be bothered. Wasted my time here. Too bad, it was a good business 10-15 years ago. Update: when I picked up my items, I immediately noticed one of the few toys that was in the bin wasn’t there. It was a Melissa and Doug shoe to practice tying. Thinking maybe it was moved in the bin and not wanting to accuse, I waited until I had a chance to go through the bin. After checking the bin, it is nowhere to be found! So on top of the poor customer service, at least one item was missing!! There was a clear counter, only 2 or 3 employees and barely any customers, it would be impossible to “lose” an item in a matter of 15 minutes. There’s no way it was an accident. Customers sign a waiver to make sure they are not liable if things get misplaced, not stolen by staff!! Sellers make sure you watch as they go through your items or take inventory prior to drop. With all of this said, this is only my experience with the...
