Was happy to see there was a Burlington so close to me that is actually open until 11! Well that happiness went right out the window fast. I walked in at 8pm and Not only was the store a complete mess but when I asked to try on 3 pairs of jeans I was told by the manager of the store "no we close the fitting rooms at 8" .... confused by the individual put the jeans back and went in line to purchase a sweater I was able to pull over my head to try on. There was only one register open and she was cashing out a huge cart of items from the person infront of me.... meaniwhile the same manager who said the fitting rooms close at 8 was just standing atva register watching myself wait as more shoppers started to get in line.. anothwr employee kept walking around behind the registers as well acting as if she didnt notice us. ....after about 15 minutes of waiting (for my 1 item mind you) I finally got served by a very nice girl and and asked her nicely.... "if you're open until 11 why would you close the fitting rooms at 8 this is a clothing store?" She directed me to the manager who still was standing at the closed register looking like he was lost in space. He turned and asked whats the problem? I repeated myself again and then rudely mumbled under his breath "because it's dark out and I can't see what people are doing" (something along those lines , like I said he was rude, spaced out,)
The girl at the register was sweet and working all by herself as the line kept growing and did her best to apologize for the fact that was the managers outlook and rule apparently for that location
I have worked in retail my entire life and I can't imagine EVER pulling something like that.... I was honestly disgusted.....
I would like to contact a district manager or higher up because I want to return what I bought because I don't even feel that location deserves a sale from me at this point. Not to mention if I could have tried those jeans on but was denied.... that would have been another possible sale...

Well I bought a suitcase which was sealed with a cableā¦.when the cashier cut the cable discovered that it was another bag with price inside. They decided that I have to pay for it separately. Burlington assistant manager, said that it was a mistake and she canāt give it to me for the same price. Then I got another suitcase it was the same way. I guess customer is not always right. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visit this stores today after 20 minutes walking through the store I found 2 aufets when I walk to the fitting room was a sign that was closed. I ask security lost prevention. And his answer was they open the fitting room just weekends. How about the people that wants avoid crowds or don't want to do multiple trips to the store to return something that At The store couldn't try it on because fitting rooms are closed. Have a few gift cards since Christmas that I want to use but because this store is a mess most of the time or really hard to find something. I wasn't coming anymore.
