127 Saloon — Restaurant in Meridian

Ooof. I'm going easy because they're new, but this place was rough. The inside is absolutely gorgeous, clean, and new. It feels like vacation. The food is very delicious, their ranch is exceptional. The service is beyond horrific. I watched our drinks die on the bar top for over 10 minutes while there were three bartenders working and they were not making drinks, they were doing busy work with their personal half drank coffees on the bar. There was a host standing around, a busser, multiple servers that walked by that definitely had the "not mine" attitude. Because of this we ended up drinking less because it took so long to get our first drink. When our food came out, one meal and half of another meal came out, the server said that one of the other servers took the sides to one of the plates so I went ahead and ate my entree and all of the food was gone and we still didn't receive the other side so we just canceled that. When we ordered our food we had ordered two drinks, one random drink was placed on our table that was not what we ordered, our drinks never ended up coming so we just canceled those as well. Overall we didn't feel like it was that busy but the servers would disappear for a long time and none of them were helping each other. We had dirty dishes stacked on our table the entire meal, so much that the paper from our basket blew greasy crumbs over onto the guest next to us and blew away. I would be open to giving them another chance, but everything was a little bit too high priced to justify visiting again unless it's really nailed down. There's no vegetarian options unless you select a side salad which is a real bummer. We'll see, it's beautiful place so I hope it comes around, hopefully they work the kinks out with their front of house service because the food...

I can not say enough nice things about this establishment, its owner, its managers and its staff! Wow! I was in town for a funeral and I attended a family meal that was hosted by the 127 owner, the Manager Joe and the assistant manager Victoria. I was simply blown away by the kindness of the owner, I’d do not even catch his name but he was there to make sure it ran smooth running drinks, getting food etc, when a owner is hands on like this you know you’re in the right place. It was a sad occasion but the 127 and its amazing team did such a wonderful job offering smiles and anything they could to make people comfortable. Joe was such a cordial and kind man and his compassion for people shows in the way he greets and attends to everyone in his building. I do not live in this town, but I will never come here again without visiting this place and leaving a nice tip for the staff that made a hard day easier, their hearts were big and their smiles were bigger. The owner and the manager of this place have put something magical together and I hope the locals realize what a gem of a place they have and more so I hope the locals realize Joe, Victoria and their team really care about people and they deserve success! I hope this review finds at least one person looking for a new regular spot. The 127 and its sister bars are what you have been looking for,they also do line dancing and barn dancing. I wanted to go line dancing for my birthday, so I found this place. I invited several of my friends, and we showed up to dance and had an absolute blast.

The lessons were great and I love that they taught you a song and went through it with you and then gave you a little break with some other songs. The girl teaching the lessons was awesome and had a great attitude. She’s so darling. Once the DJ started, it was line dances mixed with swing dances. A lot of guys are knew how to dance, and we’re so sweet to ask our friends to dance. That wasn’t what we went for, but I definitely felt like it was appropriately, social dancing, not guys trying to hit on my friends. Such a great atmosphere so fun!

We ordered a lot of different food, their fried pickles were really yummy, the western burger was good, and the fries were really good. I ordered some tater tot appetizer, thinking that we could share it all, but it was like six big tater tots, they were fancy though and really delicious. I had a bite of my sister’s tacos and they were so good! I’ll be getting those next time.

I emailed the staff to make sure that we had a spot and wanted to make sure everything was happening as I was hoping. They were great at making sure that we were taking care of and super helpful while we were there. There was 14 of us, and everyone loved it so much that we definitely want...
