Heritage Hop Haus — Restaurant in Meridian

My wife and I were regulars for quite some time as they were just perfect in all regards and it was our little getaway. We hadn't been in a few months and it took longer than expected to get our very simple drinks, the appetizer took 20 minutes maybe more, the food itself took close to an hour, the food quality was a drastic decline in what we were used to. The wrong sauce was used on both of our dishes and the ingredients seemed to have changed as what was once an amazing sushi roll apparently tastes like old fish bait now. And the final topping was the amount we paid in full plus tip for the food.... ill be sticking to another bar we have close to us that always has great prices and low wait times even on their businest nights, with great food and amazing people to boot. I truly hope this was a one off and no one else has any experience like this to ruin a birthday celebration. But as always cheers to wait staff as some familiar faces made the experience a little bit better but unfortunately for the time being we won't be returning unless we hear that whatever changes they made have been undone, as most people these days I don't have the time or money to be wasted away on an experience leaving me estastic to finish what I'm...

I want to start out saying I do enjoy this place. I went here before with my sister and we had a great time. I went in yesterday with a couple of my girlfriends and the server we had was not the best. We looked at the menu and were ready to order by the time he got to us. He went to grab a menu for us and we had told him we already looked at the menu and were ready to order. When it was my turn to order I asked about the ciders specifically because they are not very popular on the menu. He then processed to tell me “well I would tell you to just look at the menu”… the way he came across was rude and condescending. I looked at the menu prior to this and was wanting to know specifically what kinds of ciders were more popular and he did not care to help or tell me about them. I do love this place, but the way he treated me was not good customer service. I have worked in customer service for over 7 years and I would not have said/treated anyone the way he did to me. Really fun atmosphere. Loved everything about the bar. The only thing that sort of ruined it was the male bartender wearing the orange bass pro shops hat. Completely ignored my friends and I for the majority of the time we were there. We literally only had one opportunity to get one drink each, because he never came back. Spent the majority of his time flirting with some girls at the other end of the bar, talking to his friend, and sitting on his phone by the register. It was like he was intentionally avoiding us.
