So we went to the Frontier Club, and the first thing that happens? A full-body security check. Not a “hey, how you doin’?”—nah, straight to spread ‘em, let’s see what you got! I walked in thinking I was going to a bar, not checking into Rikers Island!
And these security dudes? Oh, they took their job seriously. Looked like the same agents who were supposed to be protecting Trump, but failed miserably—except now, they’re here making sure I don’t smuggle in a bazooka… in my purse.
And ladies, let me warn you now—if you got tampons in there, they will investigate. One of these security geniuses starts poking around in my bag, pulls out my tampons, and I swear, he looked at them like they might explode. Like I was trying to sneak C4 into the club with a Kotex wrapper.
Then we finally get inside, and Lord have mercy. This place looked like someone took a Home Depot shed, put a bar in it, and said, “Yep, that’ll do!” It was a mix between a biker clubhouse and a petting zoo. I half expected to see a donkey at the bar ordering a shot of Jack.
And you know what the craziest part is? No pat-down when you leave. After all that security, they just let you walk out like you might be the danger now. I almost felt disrespected. Like, hold up—y’all don’t care what we may be taking? A pool table? A high top table? The only thing they were checking for on the way out was if you survived the experience.
So yeah, if you’re looking for a bar where you can get your constitutional rights violated, have your tampons inspected, and drink in what looks like the livestock section of the county fair, then Frontier Club is the spot for you! Enjoy, and may the TSA gods be with you.
We stayed for about 10 minutes! I couldn’t take...
Read moreI went there for the first time last night. I was sitting at the fire pit smoking my vape as many other's were doing. A bouncer came up to me, told me to put my pen away and told me it was a marijuana vape pen, and that he knew what it looked liked because he smokes one when he's not working. Then I spoke the head of security and was told Meridian PD comes into this bar about 4 times a day and does sweeps.
Anything could be in my pen. I was not asked by the bouncer what it was until I protested. Not to mention he had no problem letting me and other patrons know he smokes when not working. No other patrons around me were asked about their pens. Also they make vape pens for weed that are disguised. A private business has a right not to allow police in their business if there is no problems and it's clear they choose to allow this. I have patronized many bars in the Treasure Valley and this is a 1st that a bar has done this.
I came in this morning to talk with a manager and only spoke with the bartender and was told he was the only person available when I asked to talk with someone higer up and not asked for contact info to speak to a manager. I told him I would write this review at that point and he shrugged it off and didn't care.
So if you want to come to a bar where management allows Meridian PD inside to do sweeps daily, be questioned by a idiot with some power questioning what's in your vape and making assumptions, and filthy restrooms then this is the place for you! I'll never return to this...
Read moreHello, my name is Jamie Murray from Ireland. There's security member came up to me telling me that am I closed out? Because of my accents that I should be not drinking anymore. When I tried to talk to them civilly they made roundabout accusations and when I asked for their age they were only 21 and had no idea about any other place, country, or any type of understanding about accents. And so I was told to leave from the establishments when I was trying to educate said individual as I am a 32 year old and ex-military individual from an establishment that I have lived in Ireland for over 16 years and told because I sound difference and or drunk because of how I sound Is ethnist.
I strongly recommend yes if you might be a younger person looking to dance. Go for it, but if you're looking for actual professionalism and good drink, don't go here. They are xenophobic and or uneducated and potentially racist/...
