Well when we arrived and hot out the car the server watched us all the way from the car til we walked in with a odd look on his face. A guy walked in after us but the hostess went to him first ti see if he needed any help. Then she turned around and sat us with the guy who was starring at us through the blinds. He got our drink order and I asked if he can give us 2 minutes to look over the menu. He didn't come back to us until they actually sat him 2 other tables. He finally got our order. 25 minutes later we finally got our drinks, I asked if he could go ahead and put me another in because it took so long for them to come. Didn't receive that one until 30 minutes later cause the manager saw we never got it and he made it and apologize. Both the other tables got their appetizers and food but we were still sitting there with nothing. Then boom, apps and food all at one time and that's not how we wanted it. We tried to make the best of it and we ordered another round of drinks. Our server was talking to some girls at the bar and other randoms things then decided to mop. I literally had to say out loud that's your drink at the bar just sitting there in order for him to bring it. He put the mop down and got my husband drink brought it to the table and walked off. My husband was upset cause he didn't wash his hands before touching his glass after touching the mop. It night not mean anything to most but we both work in the restaurant industry and we know the dishwasher uses them mops to clean the bathroom and they have gloves on which transfer bacteria on to the mop stick. He lied and said he washed his hands when we watched him put the mop down and get the drinks. My drink again never got made. He brought me my ticket and i asked can he take the drink off cause i never got it. The service was so terrible but i still left him 22 dollars even though i should have walked out. My ticket was over a hunderd dollars. Not to mention when we was walking out our waiter was walking in and instead of holding the door open he literally push past us to go back in. My daughter was pissed cause she almost slipped by trying to get out his way. We are not going back. It was just a horrible experience all...
Read moreThis was one of the worst Applebee's experience I have ever had. My cousin took me on Sunday for my birthday. We were promptly seated which is a plus although we do not mind having to wait during rush hours. The waitress came and took our drink orders. She came back about 5 minutes and said that the mix for the jolly ranchers had to be made. Not a problem. Well that took about 10-15 minutes and when she came back, she passed out the drinks and left the table. Since we were catching up, we did not notice that 20 minutes had passed and we had not ordered. So we flagged down another waitress and asked if she could get ours. She came out and apologized and took the orders. She explained that she was pregnant and having sickness spells. She should have been sent home since she was vomiting every 5 minutes, but that did not happen. LET'S NOT FORGET THEY BROUGHT OUT A DIRTY PLATE AND GRABBED A NAPKIN TO WIPE IT OUT WITH THE SALAD IN IT! Food was delicious!!!!! When the receipts came out, we waited around for her to come and get the signature form, so I said she forgot to mention the gift card as I was reading the table cards. Well we asked for the manager. WE WAITED 10 MINUTES FOR THE MANAGER---SHE NEVER CAME OUT THE KITCHEN AREA!!!!! SO MY COUSIN CALLED THE RESTAURANT AND ASK TO SPEAK WITH THE MANAGER----SHE DID NOT COME TO THE PHONE!!!!! WE FLAGGED DOWN ANOTHER WAITRESS---IT WAS NOT ABOUT THE GIFT CARD, IT WAS ABOUT THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM BY NOW......I AM IN MANAGEMENT AND NEVER WOULD I LET A GUEST WAIT TO BE ADDRESSED UNLESS THERE WAS SOMEONE ELSE AHEAD OF THEM...THEN I WOULD POLITELY ASK AND APOLOGIZE FOR THE WAIT...SHE WALK TO THE TABLE AND SAID----" I'M ABOUT TO FIRE HER FOR NOT ASKING Y'ALL ABOUT THE GIFT CARD WITH HER ARMS FOLDED!!!!" Read moreCurbside to go experience poor. Order placed at 8:52 and immediately received email advising it would be ready at 8:10 pm. Arrived at 8:09 at noticed two other vehicles in curbside to go parking spot. One person was coming out with his order (went inside to pick up) and one other vehicle was waiting. At 8;35 I was beyond frustrated as I could see coworkers folding napkins and finishing up end of shift activities as I continued to wait for someone to bring my order or acknowledge my presence. So I went inside where there were two preparing orders (one being the Mgr) and two others chit chatting at the station 4-6 ft away and another coworker folding utensils in napkins. As I entered I noticed 4 orders bagged and sitting on the metal shelf eating to be taken to vehicles. Keep in mind only one more vehicle had arrived since my 8:09 arrival.
No one acknowledged me so I politely said “excuse me, I have been waiting on an order since 8:10”. The lady asked my name. Then they proceeded to look for my order which was ready and waiting on the rack. I explained that my email said it would be ready at 8:10 and the mgr said ma’am we have a lot of orders and only two people working. I asked if my food had been sitting in that bag for 25 min and he said you are welcome to check it before you leave. No I apologize for your experience, poor service, delay, etc. my food was cold and no I didn’t say anything more because I already wasn’t getting the feeling that anyone cared I was disappointed. I travel and stop to get curbside on a regular basis and have never had to go in myself and pick up my order and worse get attitude. I saw more coworkers than customers in the restaurant but yet no one could take time to walk out the curb side to go orders that were sitting in a bag on a shelf by the door while the customers that ordered waited.
