Hobby Lobby — Local services in Meridian

Myself and another customer waited for 22 minutes for someone to come cut some material. I rang the bell and a lady from the frame dept walked by and paged for someone to come cut our material. Why she couldn't have taken 5 minutes and done it herself, I'm not sure. At the 10-minute mark, I went to the front counter and asked for help from two employees who had no customers. The male employee stated that there had been a page over the intercom and someone would be there momentarily to help us. At the 17 minute mark, the other customer approached the front desk and another store wide page was made. No one ever responded. At the 22 minute mark, I heard one of those employees vacuuming the front foyer. This is an awesome store!! There is isle after isle of crafting supplies, toys, floral products, signage, model cars, and so much more!!! This store would take hours upon hours to actually see everything inside it. I went in only for model glue for my dad's model ship and was blown away at all the ideas I got just from browsing for a few minutes. There are so many things that I want to get and give as gifts to my family and friends. I am very thoroughly impressed by this particular store. This store was clean and the employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. I will be shopping here much more than just during this upcoming holiday season. I like working on plastic model kits of aircraft and other military vehicles. I spend a pretty decent amount on this hobby and I enjoy spending the majority of my money locally in order to have that option of shopping locally. That being said, the last several times I’ve gone here to get items, they’ve had less and less. They now do not carry the bare minimum. I really wish whoever is doing the ordering would do better, but unfortunately I’m going to just have to do all my shopping online for now. Maybe things will change for the better one day.
