Another update! I went back with a free combo meal coupon that I was sent ages ago, and one might presume that if someone used one it was because their order had been messed up before. So they would probably make it right, right? Nope. It was just as nasty as it always is. I even told the person when he handed it to me immediately that it couldn't possibly be ready. And he kept saying yes yes and I kept telling him no no. And now I am stuck eating old AF undercooked super salty fries and okayish (dry and only kinda old) chicken nuggets. I order my fries well done with light salt by the way. And all of these are sickly limp and you can audibly hear the salt flick off of my fingers after every time I grab one. And while I refuse to go back for breakfast, I thought for sure it can't be as bad during standard hours. And that's totally on me. But there's only so many places my free combo meal works. Hahaha!
Update! I waited about 3 months before returning because that's usually about how long it takes to roll through the really bad managers and late night employees. So I just went through and I ordered the same thing I always order. It wouldn't pop up on the screen and he wouldn't read the order back or give me a price. So when I actually got my food they tried to hand me the complete wrong order. Mind you I never saw my order on the screen and I asked them to repeat it because I was concerned it wasn't correct. Then asked again when I paid him because the total was way off from what it typically is. And while I hand them back the wrong part of my order, I open up another part of my order and see that it is black and crispy. Burnt to hell. So I asked for my correct breakfast sandwiches and waited about 7 minutes to be handed a very poorly microwaved doughy as hell disgusting sandwich. This was after they they had already replaced one of the breakfast sandwiches that was not even close to what I ordered. And had to remake the drinks because they were not what I ordered. When I pulled around to get my money back for the incorrect order, it had already been about 20 to 25 minutes start to finish. I got there at approximately 4:06 a.m. I was given some wild excuse about how they had to microwave my sandwich so they could get it to me in time but if they had actually microwaved a sandwich for 7 minutes it might have been cooked. So they told me I could have a refund but tried to only give me $4 back. And by time I was able to get a refund for my entire order that was completely incorrect, it was well over 30 minutes that I spent in that drive-thru. And Mr angry Ginger manager should take his attitude somewhere else if he doesn't want to make what people order. And wants to try to rob them of all their money and throw them a couple dollars to shut the f** and walk away. Sorry that works for other people, but it's not going to work for most people. I'll check back in another 3 months when you've been fired.
I really should give this place a better review. I mean the amount of times that I've left without food or thrown it away has definitely helped my diet.
Do not believe for even a second that this place is 24 hours. As someone who has continually gone there for multiple years wasting my time getting off the highway for them to give me another excuse why they're closed, please do not waste your time. Not only will you get terrible service, but the chances of them being open are so slim. I know you are probably wondering why I continually give this place a chance, but after the pandemic it is literally the only one that sometimes is open. Read moreMerriam Kansas Horrendous customer service and overnight staff. I went through their drive thro at 2 am and waited and then passed windows and no one was there. I looked it up to make sure I was at correct location. Said 24 hr drive thru. I called the store and a lady answered and I asked if the store was currently open. She said I’m in the back doing paperwork that’s why no one was answering the drive thru. I politely asked her if I could wait until she was done or at a stopping point becuz I drove 20 min to the location and passed all other places for food and have no food at home. She scoffed and laughed and said it’ll take a lot longer for this to get done. I said I can’t just wait since Ive driven so far? She said I have to open the store For next day and this is when I do that and was snarky and rude. I understand understaffed and I work in retail. But my cc has nothing to do with you’re paperwork and your cash if she was dealing with that. And I even offered to just wait until she’s was done. And she said “honey sorry but no I won’t be helping anyone for awhile this is when I do my paperwork.” Don’t state 24 hours and not allow the customer to wait. I even offered and was polite and got treated with disrespect sarcasm and snarkiness and hung up on when I said it was ok if it took awhile I just was exhausted from working both jobs and hadn’t not been to sleep yet or ate all day and I passed all other locations already and didn’t want to risk driving farther and falling asleep. This McDonalds SUCKS! I’m sorry, but I’m no-racial and I can speak English perfectly. If you are going to work in a customer service position at least…TRY.
Plus, there is one Mexican woman who does NOT smile, not happy, or seems she doesn’t even want to be working. Every time I go there they get something WRONG.
I hate using the kiosks, because when I don’t use a debit/credit card they get MAD. I’m sorry, I use both kinds of monies; cash and card. The stupid kiosks don’t give you the option to have your fries “well done,” and so I have to tell the employees all the time, and they get MAD again.
Also, if I want to pay extra for sauce or extra Oreo stuff in the McFlurry, and I ask nicely they don’t care. They don’t know how to communicate with each other. The woman asked me to wait 10 minutes for the apple pies, yah I waited for like 25 minutes. Like I said, this McDonalds sucks. They bad thing for me, it’s that it’s so close and of course, I’d rather stay with this McDonalds.
