What a unique and delicious boba spot! This place is a great addition to Mosaic but is good enough to make a special stop just for it. The packaging and branding are cute and on point, the employees are helpful and nice, and the tea is excellent!
The food: I got the ube milk and canât get enough of it! At 75% sweet you get more of a creamy milk forward ube experience without it being too sweet. My husband did the classic milk tea at 0% sweet and it was a light, complex flavor without any bitterness - an excellent choice if youâre doing keto or low sugar! I also got the ube mochi donut and it was crisp, light, and pillowy while also being chewy and with a delicious fudgy icing. The canning process for the drink lids is also really cool and unique, and has more function than just a gimmick. Drinks are very secure when transporting and peeling off the lid gives good access to their âmoustachesâ and latte foam. I worried about the edges being too sharp for putting it near my mouth but so far I havenât found that to be the case.
The atmosphere: Itâs bigger on the inside than youâd expect. Clean, bright, and music not too loud. Great for pickup or dining in.
Employees: I showed up on a weekday pushing a stroller and one of the workers ran to get the door for me. So nice! He also helped explain the menu and made recommendations (would not expect that when itâs busier, but it showed what kind of people work there when...
Read morethis was the worst thing Iâve ever tasted. me and my friends ordered 3 drinks and they were all horrific. to start, the passion fruit refresher drink had seeds in it that crunched in your mouth unpleasantly. the strawberry jelly add ins were hard and gross. the mango tea drink was bitter even though we asked for 100% sugar, but that was the best of the worst. the brown sugar boba tea was single-handedly the worst drink on the planet, something I would give to my worst enemy. Drinking it made me want to exclaim to the whole store to not order it because of how bad it was. The drink itself was average but the boba? more like tire rubber. the shape didnât even feel like a circle, more like a disformed wrinkly piece of tough gel in my mouth. chewing and swallowing was a difficult chore because of how uncomfortable the mouthfeel was. it reminded my friend when she ate snake meat in taiwan. Iâve never been one to leave reviews good or bad but this takes the cake. 25 dollars has never been spent in a...
Read moreSuch a shame when a business changes their practice. I would come LITERALLY every day to get the Dalgona coffee, which is yummy just not well balanced and needs a little more sweetener. Today I went in to buy two but was told I can't "adjust the recipe" by adding a pump extra sweetener even though I offered to pay for it. Like that makes no sense. I was there yesterday and that was no problem. Any other coffee or tea spot has no problem adjusting. I would've paid whatever but now you lost a daily customer and the entire sale instead of just charging the extra charge. I don't blame the employee, it seems as though it was a management or owner decision but a costly one because the girl behind me in line asked the same thing and was denied so she left too. Also, it's very confusing because the bottom of the menu has a sweetness scale as though your drink can be adjusted. I don't get it, just charge for the...
