I recently had the pleasure of visiting Backyard Taco, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long time! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my visit was perfect.

I decided to order the Al Pastor tacos, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The tacos were filled with tender, flavorful pork that had been marinated to perfection. The combination of spices was just right, giving each bite a delightful burst of flavor. The addition of fresh pineapple added a sweet, tangy contrast that perfectly complemented the savory pork. Every ingredient was clearly fresh and of high quality, making for a truly delicious meal.

The tortillas were soft and warm, clearly homemade and the perfect vessel for the delicious filling. I appreciated the generous portion size, which left me feeling satisfied without being overly full. The side of lime and the salsa bar allowed me to customize each taco to my liking, adding an extra layer of flavor and freshness.

Beyond the food, the ambiance of Backyard Taco is fantastic. The outdoor seating area is charming and comfortable, providing a relaxed environment to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The decor is vibrant and fun, reflecting the lively and authentic spirit of the restaurant.

The Backyard Taco was recommended to us for an event we were catering to for 38 people. I placed the order the night before but didn’t pay but the lady on the other line didn’t explain to me the order would just be canceled. That message came at 10pm when a lady called me to tell me that my order would be cancelled because she said she was going to delete it if I didn’t pay. I asked her if she could please keep it and I would call in with the corporate credit card. In the morning I called to make sure I had that order so when corporate called they would be able to pay, and the order was placed which was a relief. So I am now at the restaurant picking up the food at 11am and the ladies in the back acted like I didn’t exist, I had been trying to ask them a few questions but my food was rolled out to me. Their was a lot of food but they didn’t set me up with boxes or bags and it was 12 catering pans and a side of beans and 2 large bags of chips. So I asked if I could have a bag or something to help me transport, the young girl asked me if I wanted a black trash bag? I was nice and said I thought you’d supply something so I just let her follow me to my car, and as we are loading it up she is giving me an attitude. I told her that I was not upset with her but seriously if you offer catering food then your set up for boxes or bags of some sort, and they don’t deliver so I chose to pick it up. I think the food was a success and super yummy. But they didn’t include the bean at all but only juice, so there were no beans for the vegans as a protein to eat. Not again, I will get a Company to cater that really caters. That’s really why I was upset mainly at myself because I order catered food a lot and this was super stressful. I loved to eat at this place but on July 21st I used the mobile app to place an order. It was about 10 at night. The app give me an error saying that my order couldn't be processed so I figured that because it was so late at night and they closed in an hour that they weren't taking online orders. We literally lived across the street so my daughter walked over there, ordered our food and brought it home. For some reason when she ordered it in person it came out to be $2 more than what was on the mobile app which was fine. And then 3 days later I checked my bank account and that night that I placed the mobile order it charged me $19.61 three times plus the $21.58 order that my daughter placed in person. So it charged me almost $60 for food that I tried to order online Plus the food that I actually paid for. I checked the mobile app and it gives you your order history and it's not have an order from that night so I know my order didn't go through. I went in the next day and talked to a manager named Daniella and she asked for a copy of my bank statement showing that I got charged three times, she also checked the tablet and said that that night they didn't get an online order with my name or my order and I explained to her that it didn't let me place it cuz It kept telling me that there was an error. She told me that she was going to talk to somebody about my order and I have yet to hear back. I have since moved out of state and I call every single day to try and talk to somebody about this and they never answer the phone. $60 is a lot of money.
