If you have a full size pickup truck or SUV, maybe try the drive-thru. The parking here really sucks when it's busy. I had to leave, loop around the restaurant next door and then wiggle my way into the only open spot I could manage.
I did an online order for curbside pickup, but could not park in one of the three curbside spaces because someone was double-parked in spots 1 & 2, and 3 was also occupied. I chose the option in the app to indicate that I couldn't park in any of those spots and turned on my hazard lights as it instructed. About 10 or 15 mins past when the order was supposed to be ready according to the app, an employee eventually came out, looked around like they were confused, and went back inside. Assuming they had my order and didn't see me, I shut off my car and went inside. The two people who were parked in the curbside spots were inside waiting for their orders as well. One of those customers told me that they'd put my food back under the heat lamp. The employee who was running the orders out came back out of the back and I flagged them down. They were very apologetic and went and got my food for me.
Whataburger fries are typically fantastic when they're fresh, but mine were cold by this point and didn't seem to have any salt on them. My burger was missing the cheese I paid extra for, and my chocolate malt, well... I think they just gave me a vanilla shake? I've had their chocolate malts before and this...
Read moreDrive thru stop ordered green chile combo plus onion rings. Drove 15 minutes home only to find out they didn't put in the onion rings. This was the 2nd time in two weeks this has happened at this location. Last time they forgot my kids fries in their meal and I did not complain so I wasn't letting it slide this time. I drove back which was now 50 minutes after I ordered. I told the first guy my onion rings were not in my order and also asked for my burger to be remade since now it was cold. He called another guy up who did not want to remake my burger and said his manager doesn't like to waste food. I tried to remain calm as I explained it was not my fault and It has not been 40 minutes of driving just to get back here and if they purchased anything from a business and did not receive what they purchased they would want a refund or the item in its entirety. He said he would remake my burger "this time" for me. Not the best customer service to treat someone like they are doing you a favor for getting what you paid for. I think some training needs to be done at this location in how you speak to customers when dealing with issues like this. Finally got to eat an hour and a half later after I ordered once I got back home. Love Whataburger but not sure I'll comeback to...
Read moreThis location has been voted off the island! I spent $70 of my hard earned money to treat my family of 5 on a Take Out Night..... and have it result in meals that were not even mediocre. 5 meals: Messy, smashed, crumbly burgers, MISSING green chile (ADDITIONAL CHARGE). Soggy, stale, saltless fries, Medium fries with SMALL size quantity, Large fries with MEDIUM size quantity AND what was served up, were the wimpy bottom of the barrel, frozen bag fries. Buffalo Ranch Strip sandwich was improperly sauced, chicken- naked and afraid on one side and drowning in sauce on the other, also oozing out the bun. Large drinks served with more than half full of ice resulting in medium portion beverages. 2 of the large drinks were filled to an inch below the rim of the cup. Forgotten medium fry AND Forgotten cookie. This crushed my child's heart.
This was to be a treat for my family as we don't eat out often. Sadly, our expectations for deliciousness were quickly shattered.
In the end, we ate the food because we're not tossing $70 in the trash. We are thankful for our meals and the topic of taking Pride in your Craft as well as Self Reflection. Character is a terrible thing to waste... just like the Quality at...
