This was a perfect place for gyros! If that's what you're craving, then please go try it! Today was my first visit, and the service was quick and friendly. There is also a small bar inside so you can order a beer or mixed drink while you eat in-store if you like. Plenty of parking all around the store(drive around towards Bad Habits next door for more spaces). This is also close to a police station, and is a very big favorite of officers for lunch. TV had sports on, and the chairs were fairly comfortable. There is a handicap ramp leading inside, and patio seating too. The one gyro and fries I ordered was big enough for my husband and I to share as a small lunch, or very large snack! Lol picture is included of how much meat they pile on over the sauce and veggies. Reasonable prices around 10$ and up after tax. Don't feel like a combo? Order just the gyro meat to-go by the pound and make your own meal with the amazingly flavorful and tender meat. Give it a try!

The first time I tried them, I got the Ceasar Pita. It made me sick within an hour of eating it. I have a fairly sensitive stomach so I didn’t think anything of it. The second time I tried them I went basic, a cheeseburger and fries. Well low and behold I found a sandwich bag clip in my burger. On the bottom bun, under my patty. I called and though they did apologize that was all they did. I’m sad to say I won’t be eating here again, and will be recommending my hospital order elsewhere when considering lunch for our employees. Update 8/3: A gentleman named Robert gave me a call at work and apologized profusely. I understand we are only humans and mistakes get made. He offered to replace the meal or give me a refund. He knows the my place of employment well and understands how this could have been dangerous. Great reception from a bad experience, will give them another chance in the future.

Georges Gyros will definitely satisfy your desire for a great tasting gyro, with its tantalizing herbs and spices on a nice proportion of perfection in their traditional preparation of meat, great tasting tzatziki rolled in a hot pita. And a fresh and colorful Greek salad that was more then what was anticipated for my first time visiting this restaurant. Along with greek sandwiches & platters with a flare of Chicago, and to compliment their menu a variety of pizza & pasta, salads, and deserts. They host a small bar to accommodate those seeking a cocktail or beer to go along with their meal. Robert, Danny, and Atour are delighted to not only see that your meal has met your satisfaction, but are extremely charming, and friendly. The restaurant is located near Main and CountryClub. Thank you Atour for your generosity and a fantastic meal. I look forward to definitely coming back soon.

Deceiving from the outside as the building looks pretty old and may make you think it's going to feel that way on the inside as well. But what a great surprise! Inside feels very modern, bright and clean. Really well laid out. Menu board is well lit, bright and easy to read. Floors, tables and counters are all very clean and nice. The staff was all friendly and helpful. Excellent choice of drinks and large food menu.

Ordered the traditional gyro plate with fries. Prices were reasonable. Portion size was very good. The food was great. Pita bread was the softest I've ever had, nice. The meat was warm and plentiful and tasted fresh and good. Good amount of lettuce, tomato, onion and tzatziki. The fries were thick and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Made my typical mix of spicy ketchup for the fries when having gyro, yum! Very good.

They have a full bar on one side of the dining area and a tv and more seating on the other side. It's a nice comfortable layout and seating and tables are comfortable and clean.

Overall George's was a great experience and a nice surprise for my first time there. I will definitely return when I'm in the area again and I highly...

The Best Gyros in Town! (It’s true!)

I recently had the pleasure of trying the gyros at George’s Gyros, and I must say, they truly exceeded all my expectations. From the first bite, I knew I was in for a treat! The flavors were absolutely divine, and the combination of tender meat, fresh vegetables, and creamy tzatziki sauce was simply mouthwatering.

The gyros were perfectly seasoned, and the meat was cooked to perfection, making each bite an explosion of taste. The pita bread was soft and fluffy, complementing the filling beautifully. The portion size was generous, ensuring I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied.

The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure my dining experience was top-notch. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, providing a comfortable space to enjoy my meal.

Without a doubt, this place stands out as the go-to spot for the best gyros in town. I can confidently say that I'll be back again and again to relish these delectable gyros. If you're a fan of Greek cuisine or just looking for a memorable dining experience, do yourself a favor and head over to this gem of a restaurant!

Highly...
