We have been looking for a Chinese restaurant that reminds us of a place we loved in CA. Saw the reviews of this place and the pictures of the food looked really good so decided to give this place a try.

The location of this place looks sketchy but we have had great experiences at other restaurants with same feel, so that did not deter us. It was also New Years Day so parking lot and restaurant was empty, but it started to pick up by the time we left.

Restaurant was clean and atmosphere was nice.

Service was average but helpful and informative. Was told that they have been in business since 1997.

We ordered several dishes and was advised portions are substantial and were we sure we wanted that much. We.like leftovers and wanted a variety so we ordered 4 dishes.

Food definitely was big portions and all tasted good. The orange beef was really good but luke warm as was the orange chicken. Garlic beef was pipping hot and grea flavor. Wife had Moo-Gai Pan Chicken was also luke warm but good flavor.

We ordered beef sticks but they had a sweet aftertaste that was offsetting probably won't order again.

Pricing was good especially for the portions you get.

As stated above more people arrived during our dining and another patron said this is their favorite place to come for Chinese food.

Will we be back?...yes..but will mae sure food is hotter and try other things...

My only complaint is that I haven't tried this place sooner! I live about a mile away from Golden Valley and have been meaning to give it a try for several months now, but today I finally have it a shot and I couldn't be happier! Everything about my experience was exceptional! The gentleman who helped me over the phone and when I went to pick up was very kind and friendly, even behind the mask, you knew he was smiling! The portion sizes are remarkable for the price and absolutely delicious! I got the lunch order of the Beef and Broccoli, my normal favorite, and everything was cooked perfectly! The broccoli was nice and soft with just a little crunch, the beef was thinly sliced and so tender, and then the sauce was the best part!! I'm always hesitant to try this at new places because too many restaurants have their own variations of the sauce, but Golden Valley was spot on and I couldn't get enough of it!! Just from that alone, I'm hooked now and will be coming back frequently! I also ordered the Sweet and Sour Chicken and Vegetable Lo Mein and couldn't believe how full the to-go box was filled with my son's favorite noodles! Both entrees were delicious and a big hit with my very picky four year old! Thank you Golden Valley for such a satisfying lunch (and dinner tonight from all of the left overs), but also for being open for take-out during all of this COVID-19 craziness. You've got some...

Excellent Chinese Restaurant. And your drink is never empty. This is customer service. I will be coming here from on. I over heard a gentleman talking to one of the patrons of the restaurant, he said. " You definitely have something really good going here" and said. "I'm a customer for life" and said " I order between 2 and 3 times a week here" I said " I agree, I do the same" and the patron thanked us. The portions are a lot, I always have left overs. Thomas is always on the ball, he's always checking up on his customers. You need something, he's on it, need a refill, he's on it. And you never have to ask him, cause he asks you first. My drink gets to half, and he refills it. This place is the best, I found it one day while driving. Told my wife, i'm hungry. Seen the restaurant, and pulled in. Prior to going in, I looked at the reviews. I figured, what the heck. And took a chance, and i'm glad I did. Now when i go in, they know by heart what i want. I wish all restaurants were this customer service oriented and polite, they could take a lesson or two...
