Have ordered from this store several times with no issue, until recently. Never again. At 10:08 I submitted my order for delivery. The order was prepared and labeled as out for delivery fairly quickly (exactly what I have come to expect from JJ). At 11am it still had not arrived. I contacted the store and was assured that it was out for deliver, but there were deliveries in front of me. Understandable. 11:20am my order arrives. Not a big deal, they were busy. Open my bag and am missing an item. Contact the store and let them know of the issue, I spoke with Devin who offered to have my missing item delivered, to which I agreed. He did mention that it would be a bit later because they were busy with the lunch rush. Again, not an issue. Item did not appear that day. Contacted the store at opening the following day and asked for a manager (I did not write down her name). Was again offered to have my item delivered or receive a store credit. I asked how the credit would be applied to my account, would it go onto the app that I used? She let me know that it would be tied to my phone number and I would need to call in my order to get the credit applied. I chose to take the credit. Called this morning to order lunch. I explained to the individual that answered that I need to place an order for delivery and was asked to call it in because of the credit. I gave my phone number and was told there was no credit on my account. I was placed on hold while he spoke with a manager, who told him that they will not honor the credit. One or two of these mess ups, not a big deal. So many eff ups are...
Read moreMy friend turned me on to the tuna salad at Jimmy John’s while I was in Dallas last year. We ordered the tuna salad in a cup with pickles. Soooo yummy!
Anyhoo.. I’ve ordered it at this Jimmy John’s location before with no issues but it’s been a while since I’ve ordered it (I also love the country club 😊)
Today I tried to order and they flat out said NO! 😂
They won’t serve me the tuna salad unless it’s on bread or wrapped in lettuce. I let them know that when I ordered previously I paid for a sandwich and if I needed to pay for a cup this time that would be fine.
NOPE!
Ok, how about a tuna salad lettuce wrap hold the lettuce? Just put the tuna on the paper wrap instead…
NOPE!
Ok, how about you put the tuna on the lettuce but leave it flat instead of wrapping it up like a burrito so I can eat it easier?
NOPE!
The only way I’m getting tuna salad is on bread or wrapped in lettuce, period. Either I pick it off the bread or lettuce or I go on my way.
It may just be me, but this seems a little cray cray. 🤡 Why do I have to scrape my tuna off the bread or lettuce?
The whole thing is just silly.
The end result is that I was out of time and ended up not have time to go elsewhere so I skipped lunch that day.
I get that rules change but frankly this is absurd. This isn’t the only place in town with good tuna salad. I don’t get this hassle anywhere else.
I’m really sad that I will not eat at a Jimmy John’s again after this. I really love the kickin ranch, the country club, and the chocolate chip cookies. But after this insane encounter I’m going to just stick with...
Read moreOrdered a BLT with extra bacon today. Tia took the order, confirmed it with me and gave me the price. Business as usual, until the order arrived, I'm 4 blocks from their store and the order was completely wrong. I didn't know of course till the driver left so I call to get the correct sandwich and the young man assures me it will be here ASAP. 40 mins later still no sandwich, I call back ask for the mgr and its Tia. I reminded her who I was and she was already familiar with the incident. She apologized and began to say she knew nothing about it. Then she verified that the order was coming. What's really bad is the sandwich she charged me for was more money than the BLT that I wanted! She made no offer to refund me the difference at all!! I will not buy there again
As a follow-up, I met with Alex the manager. He more than made up for everything that went wrong he has earned my business once again. Thank you Alex for the prompt way you handled this on...
