So went there today got a bucket 4 hot and 2 honeybbq, well when we got home to enjoy our wings my boyfriend ate one that smelled of death, he threw up immediately. We called the store and the manager was apologetic and did what he could to assist me, but when we got to the store their little front girl was rude and disrespectful towards me. She tried to make me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about, and tried too ensure me that their wings were in fact fresh, but when meat goes bad it goes bad I'm also a culinary student so I know my knowledge of meats and I didn't like a little waitress telling her thoughts when she never touches the food or prepares it. Her job is to take orders, handle money and drinks that's it... I know because I also worked at wings express in my teen years and know how there place works. If anything I would highly recommend the other store on Alma School and 8th. The shop on main sucks, sell bad meat and the employees are disrespectful beyoches. I asked for extra sauce now they tried to charge me which they never have before, and even gave attitude when I first ordered I'm glad to have my money back I guess making a trip to the other store would be worth it then dealing with people like them. My wife and I have been regulars at Wing Express Express, usually enjoying their wings. However, under the new management, we’ve noticed a significant decline in portion sizes and overall quality.
Yesterday, we ordered a half pound of wings, which should be nine wings. Unfortunately, the wings we received were extremely small and had very little meat on them. It was quite frustrating as we didn’t get the portion size we expected and paid for.
We returned to the establishment to either get a refund or better wings. The staff explained that the portion size depends on the weight of the wings—if the wings are small, they give you an extra one, but if the wings are big, you get fewer. While I understand the concept, it didn’t align with our expectation of receiving nine decent-sized wings for a half-pound order.
In the end, we did receive an extra wing to make up for the small size, but it didn’t improve the overall experience. We ended up getting a refund. It's disappointing to see this decline in quality and portion size, especially when it used to be a place we consistency and meet customer...
Read moreOn December 18, 2018 at 8:00 p.m., I called in an order and was told it was a 5 minute wait when picking up the order. I arrived around 8:20 and paid for my order. After 35 minutes of waiting, my order wasn't still ready and when I asked about the order, the girl told her co-worker that he gave the order to someone else. It was now near closing and they didn't offer to make the order as soon as possible. I asked for a refund and the dark hair kid with glasses gave me my refund and said the manager approved a credit on my next order. "I would of liked to eat now!" What really is upsetting is that no one cared about my order and no one couldn't even apologize. They just started at me with blank faces. I have patronized this place many times, but because of their staffs attitude, tonight will be last visit and I will call my company's office tomorrow and tell them to cancel calling "Wings Express" to order wings for our Company's Christmas party for this Saturday.
