I’ve been eating here for years and today his cashier gave me the wrong order. She Repeated my order back to me correctly but punched it in the system wrong. I checked the food before I left and promptly brought it back inside. When I enter the restaurant and tell the older gentleman that I assume owns the place that my order isn’t correct he proceeds to start yelling at me about how she misunderstood while emphasizing he knows how I order and not her. I told him there’s no need to yell at me. I’d like a refund. The food was already on the counter. I went back to my car to retrieve the drinks and everything else. Once I re-entered I gave him the bag with the items, signed the receipt, and thanked him for his time. I’ve been eating there for years and have always been kind, over tipping, appreciating the food that came out his kitchen. I told him you don’t have to talk to me like that. I have never been treated this way behind someone else putting in an order wrong. Regardless to what’s going on behind the scene or when a customer brings something to your attention you do not yell at them when they are calm and only trying to get what they paid for. I will never come back here. He lost my...
Read moreI experienced language barriers. My first visit I asked if they could make fried rice withOUT the peas and carrots and they said yes. I asked for Shrimp Fried Rice, NO vegetables and a side of fried rice NO vegetables (picky eating kids). I picked up the order, checked and noticed they gave me steamed rice. I repeated my order and a middle age employee took the pint back and returned. It is my fault for not checking. I arrived home and noticed they gave me the same side of steamed rice with vegetables that she took to the back. It's like she literally walked to the back, stood for 60 seconds and came back with the same item in hand.
I wanted to give them a second try. I called a few days later. My kiddo loved it. I asked again for fried rice no vegetables and what sounded an older male said they don't make fried rice without vegetables. When I told them they did it a few days prior the gentleman said it comes together and then offered steamed rice. Unsure how they were able to do it prior and suddenly unable to. I declined the steamed rice. I'll keep searching for...
Read moreMr. Teriyaki has been a steadfast favorite of mine for the past decade, consistently delivering exceptional service, outstanding food quality, and unbeatable prices. During my ten years in Dallas, I have frequented this establishment and have never left disappointed.
As my family has grown from a party of three to seven, Mr. Teriyaki has continued to impress us with its affordability, allowing us to enjoy a hearty meal for just $73. The teriyaki chicken is a standout dish, perfectly balancing smoky and savory flavors that complement the fresh steamed rice and vegetables beautifully in every bite.
The crab rangoon is generously portioned, and the potstickers are bursting with flavor. What sets Mr. Teriyaki apart from other Asian restaurants is the generous selection of shrimp and beef fried rice, ensuring a satisfying and complete dining experience.
For those contemplating a visit, I wholeheartedly recommend diving in. Mr. Teriyaki is a solid ten out of ten, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a delightful dining...
