Pollo Regio — Restaurant in Mesquite

Hate to have to leave a bad review but here it goes. We eat here frequently. Lately the younger cashiers have been rude. (9/10/22 8:39 pm) the female order taker was rude kept saying "anything else" over & over again and talking over me while I was trying to order. I am very patient so I tried to overlook it, I understand working retail/eateries because I have too. But why dont they give this attitude to mean customers instead of polite customers? So we get to the window. Young male teen had a bad attitude too, looked upset, leaning against the window doing nothing to help the others. Its not usually like this so I wonder whats going on. They also forgot our empananda yesterday. (🔴Please check that rice isn't left out too long because we couldn't eat the rice, it smelled funny like about to go bad and you guys usually have the best rice)

A week ago there was an older lady that was running around working and bringing our order to the window while at the same time we observed two young male employees leaning on the counters drinking soda not helping just talking amongst each other. Can you check your cameras and you'll see I'm telling the truth.

We usually come to the Town East location and our 2nd favorite is the Garland rd loc. I really want to make the best of it but I wont spend my money where people cant be trusted...

I go at least 3 times a month and get a #1 Family meal, on 5/5/17 I went thru the drive thru and placed my order, I always order extra green and red sauce, and normally check the bag before I leave, it was busy and they had a something blocking the front, so I was unable to pull around and check my bag. When I got home I was missing my extra sauces they charged me for,and only had 1 tablespoons of beans, the rest was just juice. Frustrated I called and ask for the manager, I was told by the person who answered the phone that she was the manager, so I explained my problem and was told to hold for the Manager Jesus. So a gentlemen got on the phone and I repeated my problem to him, He apologized for my inconvenience and said he would comp me another #1. I told him that I would be in next week and ask for him, We'll on 5/10/17 I went in and ask for Jesus, Told him who I was, he said he never spoke with me. Hello everyone just want to explain the experience I had today at this location. Today my family stopped to pick up dinner and to our surprise we found a maggot in our food. When we took the food back to the location we spoke to Anabel who is the manager. We explained the situation to her and the other employees and Anabel doubted everything. Anabel stated that it was impossible we found a maggot in the food, there is no way we where going to ruin our own dinner. I explained to her that we served everything that was included in the meal. My sibling who found the maggot Stated it saw it moving in the rice. I was highly upset since my whole family was eating the same thing for dinner. I know that it is disgusting to find such insect in food. The most annoying part was that a young lady that works there with pink hair thought all of this was funny. Honestly I don’t find any humor in all of this. The employees seemed as if they did not care and it seems no one will take action. I am extremely furious with everything that has happened.
