I am not exaggerating when I say this is the worst restaurant experience I have ever had in my life. First and last time. Normally there is at least SOMETHING that makes an experience redeemable to eat at a place again, but here, I can not think of a single thing. First off, this was for someone's birthday so thanks for ruining that. So we are told they can't seat us for at least two hours because they are only taking reservations neglecting to mention that we can literally go on their site and make one 30 mins from that time. Then everyone who has a reservation gets sat wayyyy late. Ok fine, its a busy weekend. I can be patient. When we finally get sat, the menu is so limited that im scrambling to figure out what I can even eat. Im not crazy picky. Usually there is at least SOMETHING generic I'll settle with and eat. 5 kinds of sushi rolls at a place that serves sushi? Not even ANY that have salmon? The most basic roll that literally ever other Asian place has? Not even other of the most basic generic rolls? Ok fine. I'll get the chicken pad thai and dumplings. 20 mins for dumplings that are greasy as hell with the most bland sauce. Then finally, finally, finally some time later some actual food comes out and Im thinking Im getting fed. Let me ask this: how does Pad Thai taste bitter/sour and like rotten food? One answer I can figure. Bad eggs. I didnt even finish past a few bites bc the disgusting taste in my mouth was so bad. I refused any replacement food after my stomach felt incredibly gross and I was quite frankly just was done with that place at that point. You'd think also a manager would come talk to a person who is literally this disgusted to this point by the food, but so far no one has seemed to care much about us so Im not surprised. It slowed down to a point that it wouldnt have been that big of a deal to take two minutes. They at least took off the pad thai so I guess at least Im only paying $50 for this god awful experience. Im currently feeling like I want to gag and desperately still trying to get the taste of rot out of mouth. To say Im never coming here again would be the biggest understatement that I could express. I wouldnt even accept a free meal Im so disgusted by...
Read moreI have enjoyed this location and the brand for nearly 20 years. However, the automated system for placing to go orders is horrible if you dial the 1-800 style number it routes to call centers. Call direct to the location for better results.
To go order staff usually is excellent, but can feel the tension certain staff have with delivery services, especially with the GrubHub and Uber Eats folks while I had to wait for my order.
My most recent experience is why my value rating is 4 stars instead of 5. My order was placed 39 minutes before I arrived with the lady on the phone stating give about 25 minutes for it to be ready. Knowing this is a high traffic location attached to a mall with the highest retail sqft in the South, tourists, locals, and high traffic mean unexpected delays.
However, I was not expecting my order to have been lost and to have never been made. It took the staff about 10 minutes to locate what went wrong, and about 25 more minutes to prepare it. When checking for accuracy, the wrong order was made and an additional 10 minutes were needed to correct. The to go employee apologized profusely for the error, but no manager or shift leader could be found and additional apologies by the employee were made. Since I enjoy the food and it's the only location within 45 minutes of my home and requires special trips to enjoy, it was enough to drop my high praise of the location from excellent to good. I hope checks are put in place to correct the issue from...
Read moreI came here last night with my family for our weekly family dinner. The hostess treated us with so much kindness and was very welcoming. The wait for a table of 6 was only about 10 minutes. We got seated near a window on the left side in a booth and the ambience was very nice and cozy. Our server Olha was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the chef’s feast for 6 to save us money. The food came out very quick and efficient and was very hot! One thing I will say that stood out to me is that the manager Sean came by our table and genuinely cared about how our experience was going. He talked to us for a couple of minutes and recommended we try the Great wall of chocolate. He was very attentive and has amazing communication. We ended off the night with a few drinks. My husband went up to the bar and spoke with Kylie and Catherine to see what they recommend. he told me that they were very nice and had amazing personalities. They recommended the Rising Dragon and Japanese Old fashion, great drinks and gorgeous presentation. The bartenders also told him about the $5 happy hour all day everyday. Next time we come to P.f. changs we will definitely be leaving the kiddos at home to enjoy this great deal and hang out with the funny bartenders! Overall my family and I had an amazing time and I will definitely...
