This is definitely my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Miami Beach. I’ve eaten there multiple times, and every single time the food has been absolutely delicious. The restaurant is fairly new, nice-looking and always very clean. It’s not a big place, but when I come during lunchtime, I always manage to find a table. The guys who work there are always sweet to me, but I should mention that some of them speak very bad English. A couple of times, I had communication issues with a waiter taking my order, so I basically had to point at the items on the menu. The menu is big and includes all the major Mediterranean dishes. I’ve tried quite a few items - Greek and Shawarma Fries, Tzatziki dip, Greek Salad, Mediterranean Salad, Chicken Kebab Plate, Chicken Shawarma, and probably a few more. As I mentioned, my food has always been fresh and very tasty. I have zero complaints about the food. My favorite meal to order is probably the Chicken Kebab Plate; they really know how to cook kebab the perfect way! It comes with rice, which is also always flavorful; I love its slightly spicy taste. Just this one meal is more than enough to make me completely full. In general, portions at this restaurant are generous; they don’t go cheap, even on sides like salad or fries. I also want to mention how much I love their Turkish Black Mint Tea - it tastes fantastic, exactly like the tea I’ve had in Turkey. The tea is served in a big kettle, and you can easily pour about five cups from it. On top of that, it only costs $3, which is an amazing deal. Speaking of prices in general, they’re reasonable for most of the items on the menu, with just a few slightly on the pricier side. The restaurant has a good location, very close to Lincoln Road, and it’s easy to find. The only downside is the lack of nearby parking - you’ll likely have to park somewhere in the neighborhood. By the way, whenever I came to the restaurant with my electric scooter, the staff always let me bring it inside and park it next to my table, which I really appreciated. To sum up, I absolutely recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for delicious Mediterranean food at...
Read moreWent in with high expectations due to good reviews but honestly, Rice (the local chain) is much better. I’m middle eastern so I have been eating and cooking this food my entire life.
The fattoush had three pita chips on it, the dressing already mixed in, and was soggy by time I got it (fattoush is supposed to be very crisp and fresh). The steak kabob left me wanting and was either over marinated or not the best cut of meat, or both. The yellow rice is ok, but it’s not that beautiful, perfectly steamed long grain basmati you get at Rice. The tabbouli was the best part of the order but I got it as a side.
I ordered a pink sauce thinking it would be a sumac base but it’s more of a thousand island situation? Genuinely confused because that’s not a middle eastern sauce. Also it’s not pink; it’s orange.
I ordered all of this to go, so I’m not sure if in-person would have been a much better experience, but I probably...
Read moreSufart Mediterranean Grill in Miami Beach offers a delightful dining experience, combining authentic Middle Eastern flavors with a welcoming atmosphere. Customers praise the restaurant for its spotless environment and the exceptional service provided by its staff, such as Aleida from Turkey, who skillfully describes menu items and takes orders with care. The manager, hailing from Jordan, is known for engaging with customers to ensure their satisfaction. The menu, highlighted by dishes like chicken shawarma and kebabs, is both tasteful and beautifully presented. While the restaurant is cozy, the only drawback noted by some is the limited number of servers, which can impact service speed. Nevertheless, the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff make Sufart a neighborhood gem worth visiting for anyone who enjoys the freshness and richness of Middle...
