I generally enjoy getting McDonald's from time to time. As this one is closest to me, I often come here. Recently, the service has gone to hell. A few days ago, I had to ready here as it was late and nothing else was open. I waited (not an exaggeration) 45 MINUTES in the drive thru when there was only one car ahead of me in line. When I got to the window, the lady working there mumbled unintelligible words that I couldn't make out. I had to ask what she said 5 times, and on the 5th time she gave me a dirty look and said what she'd been saying clearly for the first time. My sandwich that night was cold and had probably been sitting for hours before she carelessly threw it in my order bag. Today, I was told of a promotion where if you bring in foreign currency, you get a free international menu item. I brought a Euro and went through the drive through. I asked if they were participating and the lady on the headset rudely blurted "what is it?" and said I needed the app, even though she had NO IDEA what I was talking about. This happened 3 times until she finally told me to just pull up to the window. Turns out, I did not need the app, there was a promotion, but she gave me some weird stupid excuse about me having to go inside and that it only applied to what I assume she said - "bites." By now, I was exasperated. I just ordered regular food and left. RUDE people in general, poor service. Now that I've talked about the big stuff, I can talk about other minor annoying things they do regularly. Eat inside? The lines are always massive regardless of the time because the cashiers regularly disappear into the back. This is doubly annoying because whenever you DO get your food, they often forget to give you straws or cutlery if necessary. If you want extra salt (usually necessary because their fries are ALWAYS unsalted it seems) you have to wait for the cashier to crawl back from the depths of the back of the restaurant to ask for it. None of the things that you have to ask for are in the customer side of the store anymore at this location, which would be okay as long as employees were capable of doing their jobs correctly. Read moreOn 7/9 2020 I went thru the drive thru of this mcdonalds and was asked to pull forward to a reserve parking spot because my order wasn't ready. As I waited I noticed that the cars behind me were in the reserve spots beside me. All spots are taken. I waited for sometime and I noticed the person coming out with 3 bags of food in one hand the bags were open and she carried them like dirty glasses with her finger tips. She went to a car to my left first. I noticed that the employee had no idea who gets what bag since the bags contained no receipts on the outside listing the bag content. So she handed a bag to the lady who started to use her hand to search thru the bag she gave it back stating it was not hers. So she gave her the next bag the lady opened the sandwich lifting the bread to see if it's what she ordered wrong bag again there's only one bag left she finally found her sandwich and then the employee came to my car but since that customer has already opened all the bags the employee knew which bag was mine. I looked at her and stated are you kidding? This not the only mcdonalds that I have had this experience they all do. They have no idea what is in each bag so they give it to the customer and let them figure it out after the customer has put their hans on your french fries sorting thru your bag just to determine if its theirs.or most likely it's going to be yours. With corona virus they need to fold the bags closed and put receipt on the outside of the bags that way the employee will know the contents. I demanded a refund and they brought only the money for the sandwich indicating that I have to pay for the soda at least. For now on I will give my business to Burger King they have no reserve spots I would sooner wait in line for my food. Now I know why the people in miami lakes travel to the next mcdonalds that is 2 miles further then this one. I ordered on the app and when I order from the shareable menu I get the 2 big macs with the 20 piece nuggets and 2 medium fries. When I order it I have to get the sauce taken off due to an allergy my husband has but taking sauce off ONE takes it off of BOTH. Now no other location has an issue giving me the Mac sauce on the side so I can have a regular big Mac. This location was sooooo rude. I asked the window lady for the sauce and she asked me to speak Spanish. I don't speak Spanish. So my hhusband translated the request for me and she said I gotta PAY for the sauce to be put back on the big mac....Ma'am it comes on the damn burger already why would I pay extra for something that comes ON THE BURGER ALREADY!?! Than I said forget it...can I have the sauce I paid for for, for the suggestions bc it comes with 3 sauces....she called for a manager who explained I NEED TO PAY FOR SAUCE.
