Dunkin' — Restaurant in Miami Shores

The good the bad and the ugly.

My son needed to go to urgent care so I went across the street to get a cup of coffee. This Dunkin looked very new so I thought I would check it out.

Here is the good- it was beautiful inside, well stocked and laid out out very nicely and the cashier was pleasant.

The bad- I ordered a decaf with cream and sugar but they made it black.

The ugly is coming with the reason for the 2 star review. So I go to the restroom for literally 2 minutes and come back. I don't see my coffee so I ask the lady behind the counter and she said she was calling me for 5 minutes and she sighs. I said no, it was 2 minutes as I was in the restroom. She hands me the coffee with much disdain. I figure she is having a bad day and just ignore the surly attitude. As I walk away and flip up the spout, the coffee looks very dark so I take off the lid and it is black. I go back and tell her I ordered a decaf with cream and sugar. She looks at her little screen and says NO you ordered it black. Just to be clear I have NEVER order black coffee in my life. Apparently she did not think there was any way the cashier made a mistake. I returned the coffee thinking she was going to correctly replace it. Uh...NO. I stood there while she made 3 other drinks. I finally asked if she was going to give me the correct coffee. Mind you I was standing there a good 5 minutes without any acknowledgement whatsoever. She looks at her screen again and says I ordered it black. I guess she finally got the message that I was not leaving until she corrected THEIR error.

I have never had anything like this happen. It was surreal and honestly I still cannot believe that she would have just let me stand there all day had I not spoken up. I finally got my coffee with a side of attitude.

This establishment is incredible. I have never been to a better Dunkin’ Donuts in my life (then again I’ve only been to 2 and the other one was high quality trash). The decorations are beautiful and inviting I FEEL LIKE ITS MY BIRTHDAY EVERYDAY! But I almost poked my eye out with them so I would take em down if I was u. The artwork is so original, like COFFEES BEANS? WHO WOULD THINK OF THAT.. GENIUS! Some other people cough Jeremy* cough* have stated that the employees aren’t smiling but maybe that’s because they looked at your face. Not everyone’s going to be happy in the morning, Jeremy, sorry if your day was ruined because they’re up in the morning making YOU coffee. AND HOW DO YOU WANNA MAKE THIS PLACE MORE WELL “SEASONED”, please explain. YOU WANT THEM TO PUT PEPPER ON THE FLOOR OR SOMETHING??? Just came to this bunking and the lady that attended to me just had a nasty attitude I asked her what kind of coffee she had. It was good and she points to the back wall and says all the flavors are there. I’ve never been here first time, so imagine how I feel about all the Dunkin’ Donuts now I wanted a little referral telling me this one is grade this one has the flavor.
