Wish I could leave a 0 star review. Just had the most annoying expierence ever. I walk in and there's only 2 people in front of me. All together I was there for over 30 minutes. That's all that really needs said but let's talk about it.
2nd time in like a week they didn't have chips. That's outta their control sometimes probably so wel give em a pass.
its dinner time. They have 3 people working.
A) there's a cashier. She doesn't move from the register. She's worked here for a very long time. She's cool. Very nice. I don't put fault on her but I'm sure her not moving from register adds to the scenario for workflow.
B) there's some new guy. Had to be new. He had no idea what he was doing. Nobody was helping him either. Legit 2 people In front of me when I got there. Spent over 30 minutes there. By the time I left the line was past the door which doesn't happen again this location. There were multiple pickup orders waiting. People were leaving and the line was still past the door. Back to the guy having no idea what he was doing, a guy in from of me got a burrito. Had the most insane portions. It was comical. Normally that's good right. However when dude went to make my stuff I had to tell him literally three times to give me more rice and the rice was still under a normal portion. I literally just gave up 😆
C) third employee was some lady i had never seen before. Running around in the back doing alot of nothing while new guy burned the place down.
2 notes on workflow.
the normal station was out of black beans. The new guy would literally take food from the normal station to the delivery station to put black beans on stuff. The chick running around in the background doing alot of nothing, you would think her first action would be, hey we need black beans up front 😆
when the new guy finished making my burrito he didn't fold. Just left it by the register and started on the next order. I stood there for several minutes like a deer in in headlights crying on the inside saying "please someone just fold my burrito. I just...
Sharing for my dear friend because I am just so damn mad and hurt for her. #Chipotle #ChipotleAustinLanding DO BETTER!
Hey Chipotle employees. I’d like to thank you for the extra generous portions and biggest burrito bowl on earth that you made for my husband, the cashier was kind enough to write the nice message before putting it in the bag beneath my sofrito bowl so I wouldn’t see it until I got home. I was so pleased to bring it home to him after he had requested it and so happy he could enjoy it after his long day at work
But that’s not how the night went, I’m just a normal regular woman, kind as could be to everyone I meet. Instead of us sitting down to dinner. He got to hold me as the tears ran down my face, humiliated. Why would anyone write such a mean message on our food. I’m not a cow. This wasn’t even my meal. Could we all just take a freaking minute to be kind. And stop being so hateful and cruel.
I’m sure this will bring a chuckle to some of you. But to those of us that have fought any sort of Eating Disorder or Body issues, you know the pain this simple mean message can cause.
Time to take the markers away from the employees until they learn some manners and deal with their own problems before they decide a sneak attack on someone else’s day.
Feel free to share. Maybe that mean girl can find a job elsewhere Signed, Kathy
Side note, as much as I and others would like to find anything other than a moo. Our mutual friend was a manager of chipotle. MOO is not in the chipotle dictionary to explain the ingredients in the bowl. It’s just a mean girl writing a...
Read moreI hate to do this, but it's truly out of concern. Yes, like many others, I have also experienced the portions not being nearly what they should be. More importantly, for the 2nd time yesterday, we received side cups of queso in our to go order which were essentially water. The 1st time this happened, I thought maybe the recipe had changed, gave it a chance and felt sick afterward. I returned to both this location and another location since then, and the queso was normal during those trips. So, after getting this cup of water containing remnants of queso for the 2nd time, this tells me that the staff is attempting to stretch out the queso by highly diluting it with water. That is disgusting. And, it's going to make people sick. This queso smelled sour. Your store making its money is not more important than the health of its customers. Whether this action is due to issues with inefficient store ordering, or a lack of training which is creating an inability to keep your product readily available- neither makes a whole lot of sense. If you run out, you run out; say you're out of it, vs artificially manufacturing it and risking people's health. Or, make sure your employees know what NOT to do. Just as a side-note; there were also half-frozen beans or vegetables in my burrito bowl as well, couldn't tell where exactly it was originating from. Definitely looking for a refund on this- $15 for 2 side cups of water and 2 bags of chips, on a $33 total order? Nope, this is...
