Known for their creative pizza and salad combinations and local craft beer, the name of this establishment is known by the owner’s childhood friend is an upscale casual, gourmet pizza concept. Located on Rigby Road at Austin Landing in Miamisburg, my partner, his family, and I decided on Dewey’s Pizza for dinner. After calling the restaurant, reservation wasn’t necessary for a Tuesday night. Upon arrival as first-timers, we were greeted by the host and got the next available booth against the wall with a decent crowd. The interior vibe had an industrial, warm, modern look for a casual dining experience. One can witness how the pizzas were made by their open glass kitchen window. Since they are freezer-free, fresh dough is delivered each morning by our local commissary crew. The vast menu choices made it difficult to make a selection. Our server informed us and appreciated the ability to create œ pizzas allowing individual tastes without having to buy whole pizzas. We decided on 11” Edgar Allan Poe, 11” half Meatball and half Green Lantern, and 11” Green Lantern with white sauce and half Hawaiian with no Canadian bacon. Our pizzas came out piping hot, tastefully delicious using the freshest of ingredients and generous toppings. The crust was thin and crispy. The service was team oriented and staff were amazing by keeping the drinks refilled. Everything checked our boxes, which we can recommend.

One thing I will say about Dewey is they have an excellent waitress. We went there to celebrate a birthday 🎂 and she was so patient and understanding. They allowed us to bring a cake. The atmosphere was nice, but for a large group, it's hard to make it private since we were set pretty much in the center back tables. However, the ambiance would be a great place for dates or maybe a group of 4, but not much more. The kids loved the place cause they were able to watch the staff make pizza through a large glass window. The gluten-free pizza was thin and crunchy. I had asked for a side of red sauce. That sauce was amazing đŸ”„! It really paired well with the pizza. The vegan cheese was good, I would rate it 8/10. The salad I got was a candied walnut with grapes. I didn't get it with cheese, so to me, it wasn't as spectacular as what everyone told me. However, I think that the cheese was probably the star of the salad and what made it pair with the citrus vinegarette. So, my opinion may be skewed due to not having all the ingredients. Nonetheless, I would have rated it 8/10 from a vegan's perspective. I absolutely appreciate the fact that they had the options for those with sensitivities, so for that, I rate the restaurant 9/10. P.s. forgot to take pictures of the pizza cause I was living in the moment with family. I only remembered the salad since it came quickly.

Dewey's Pizza is a regional chain of restaurants with locations in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. They are known for their hand-tossed pizzas, made with fresh ingredients and a variety of toppings. This location in Miamisburg Ohio was phenomenal:) The crust at Dewey's is thin and crispy, with a nice chewiness to it. The sauce is tangy and flavorful, and the cheese is melted and gooey. The toppings are generous and fresh, and there are plenty of unique options to choose from, such as the Dr. Dre (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers) and the Edgar Allen Poe (pepperoni, sausage, bacon, ham, and pineapple). Dewey's also has a variety of other menu items, including salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, and calzones. They also have a full bar, with a wide selection of beers, wines, and cocktails. The service at Dewey's is generally friendly and attentive. The restaurants are clean and well-maintained, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. Overall, Dewey's Pizza is a great option for a delicious and affordable pizza. They have a wide variety of toppings to choose from, and their pizzas are made with fresh ingredients. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. If you are looking for a delicious and affordable pizza, I would definitely recommend Dewey's.

My husband and I have never been to Dewey's but we have always heard such great things. Yesterday we decided to give it a try for lunch. Although, we both wanted to take the healthier route with a salad, once we saw the pizza we couldn't help ourselves. We had heard everything they serve (pizza, calzones, salads) is amazing. We decided to split a 17 inch in half to try two different specialty pizzas, and then take the rest home for leftovers. We tried the Dr. Dre and the Ryan's Inferno. However, when our food arrived we realized it was the wrong size. We asked our waitress and she was very quick to address the issue with the manager. The manager came over and apologized, as well as had the kitchen make us a new 17 in pizza, let us keep the one we had, and only charge up for the smaller pizza. He was very friendly, and we were really impressed with their means of correcting the issue.

Additionally, the wait staff is great. We were never waiting on anything, because everyone was coming around to take care of us. But, not in that annoying way where no one leaves you alone. If they saw you needed water, dishes cleared, your bill taken to be cashed out, they were on it.

Best part of all-- the pizza was GREAT. We often go to Spinoza's because we love pizza, but still want a nicer atmosphere for dates and dinner nights now. I feel like Dewey's was a little more reasonably priced, and just as good! For future meals, if I am spending money on any kind of carry out pizza, I'd rather get my money's worth at Dewey's.

Great food. Great Service....

We've been going here since they opened. Have loved their pizzas and calzones for years. Recently the service has gone way down hill. A few weeks ago we ordered a few calzones (3), when we got home 2 of the three were completely wrong (nobody wanted them). Called Deweys and they tried to get us to drive back (25 minutes each way) to pick up the correct order. Nope

More recently we attended a family event and were rushing to get to another event with some relatives visiting from out of town. I called Deweys while en route to place a takeout order of ($70) worth of calzones for carry out (the idea was to pick them up, have a quick bite and hurry to the next event). We were told they would be ready at 5:20 (ordered them at 4:40). Now I phoned in this order, because (1) I was driving, (2) didn't want to mess with credit cards, and (3) because they can pull up your past orders and I wanted to reorder what we had before. When I arrived at 5:30, I waited about 5 minutes before I asked what the status of the order was. I was told that "due to the size of the order (typical cost of Deweys takeout), they decided not to start them until I arrived". We are repeat customers and never had issues like this. Needless to say I had to cancel the order to avoid being late to the next event. Everybody went hungry and I had to hear "I told you so" from everyone who wanted "Chick fil A" instead. We wont be visiting again...

First time at this location, but my husband and I do frequent the locations in the Columbus area. We were greeted immediately upon walking in. But it was 9:00 p.m. on a Monday so I think only one other set of customers? We were told to find a seat anywhere we could find silverware so we did. I waitress came over very quickly and waited on us. She was friendly, attentive on refills, and checking to make sure that our food was good. There was a guy that brought us our food, and he's the same one that brought us our check. He brought one check for both of us even though we told our waitress that we were on two separate checks. So my cousin told him it needed to be split up, and he walked back over and asked us how to split it. We didn't share food or anything, he's the one that brought us our food? So we literally had to say to put what she ordered on her check, and what I ordered on my check. It's just odd and a little off-putting that one, they didn't listen about the checks, but number two that they thought we were together on one check. We are two middle-aged women cousins, guess he thought maybe we were an item? Anyway he was nice enough and he split it up and thanked us our business. I got the calzone that I always get and it was delicious! My cousin loved her salad and she tried a gluten-free pepperoni pizza and she said it was good. The restaurant is in a great area with outdoor seating and a...
