Small batch made artisanal ice cream and premium booze, it's a match made in heaven! Aubi & Ramsa, named for owners Matias Aubi and Rafael Ramirehas who spent eight years studying how to make ice cream with the liquor inside of it have your fix in the Jade Alley in the Miami Design District. They also have stores in south Florida and Tampa and in New York and Nevada.
The cute shop is set up like a bar where they can make all your summer dessert dreams come true. They serve 20 flavors in a 3.7 ounce size for around $12 and pints sell for $20. Ice cream and sorbet are infused with beer, wine, and spirits. Creative flavors include Kentucky Crème BrÝlÊe, a crème brÝlÊe ice cream made with Maker's Mark and caramelized sugar sprinkles, The Coco Loco, a coconut cream ice cream made with Don Juo Blanco and coconut flakes, The White Russian, a coffee liqueur ice cream made with Belvedere Nola and English toffee bits, and Lucky Brownie, an Irish cream ice cream made with Carolans Irish Cream and bits of organic brownies. They offer seasonal flavors and they can custom make flavors for events and parties.
After intently studying the menu I finally decided on a champagne and sorbet combination, Strawberries and RosĂŠ, a strawberry sorbet made with Veuve Clicquot rosĂŠ and St. Germain. It was actually one of their vegan selections and it was so fruity and refreshing. I sat in one of the chairs set up in Jade Alley and had a little mini vacation while I enjoyed my treat. $11 is a bit expensive for what is basically the size of a push pop but it was made with quality ingredients and was absolutely delicious and this is the Design District after all, home of Fendi and Prada. I definitely would be interested in trying some of the ice cream flavors. Everything comes prepackaged so sadly no samples :( Oh and if you do know one of those parties that is serving this,...
Read more   Read moreThis review references the 2 week old grand opening location for Aubi & Ramsa at 1 Seminole Way in Fort Lauderdale near Hollywood. For those that do not plan to stay in the new Guitar Hotel at that location, not to worry. The brand new mall space, just adjacent to hotel's lobby, features some wonderful high end shopping but you'll also find a spot for "Aubi & Ramsa" which offers an unusual delight that is quite rich, tasty, and high quality. I'd never had this stuff before today, but I am sold on what this treat brings to the table. For anyone that hasn't had it, it's quite nice. The proprietor at the Guitar location is also a very nice fellow and quite kind to his clients as he serves this delight to his patrons ! Next time in Hollywood, we're sure to stop by for more. . Update : We stopped back again this past weekend (March 7/8 '20 within the Guitar Hotel) and brought 3 additional family members to try it out (who thought it was absolutely great) 8-) ... we will be back on special...
EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS ICE CREAM 110% AMAZING!
They have such an interesting concept by infusing alcohol into their ice cream and sorbet; something you don't see very often. Aubi & Ramsa are inspired by owners of two totally different cultures Mexican & Argentinian.
Hidden gem inside the Miami Design District. Love their little tiny store, adorable decor, very cozy and private, and perfect oasis in the middle of one of the most upscale outdoor shopping area.
Love their staff especially their knowledge about what exactly is in every single item they have on menu. I've been here twice and 2 days in a row; so far l've tried 6 flavors can't wait to try the rest and hopefully they start making more variety.
Street parking available through Pay By Phone app or park valet which is a charge of $5.
Amazing and delicious restaurants around if you want to grab a bite elsewhere before having dessert here!
Highly recommended to everyone who loves a combination of ice...
